This was our 3rd stay at Old Guadeloupe cottage and we always come back as new. It is the ultimate chill out place. It really has everything you need, from a wet shower room, to a full equipped kitchen & sky TV incl sports for the OH. But it is the hot tub that keeps us to go back time... More

Back again last week to this stunning cottage. The weather was a real bonus so just chilled out on the big patio with hot tub and loungers. Picked blackberries in the lane and went collecting conkers - boyhood revisited! Melton within easy distance as is Oakham and Rutland water. Great place to relax with everything catered for. Sue is a... More

Just had a fantastic break. On arrival we found the farmhouse spotlessly clean with lovely crisp white cotton bedding and thick fluffy towels & bathrobes. The three bedrooms were well furnished each with its own tv. The top class hot tub was an added luxury being totally private and we spent evenings chilling star gazing with a glass of wine!!... Stayed here at this wonderful cottage for a mid week break late February 2016. It is set in peaceful surroundings not far from Melton Mowbray. Sue has thought of everything and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub is an added bonus and was used daily in spite of the "minus" temperatures outside! Booking was very straightforward and directions... More

We stayed in the cottage for the weekend with our 15 month old. We were with a group of friends who hired the Farm House and Sue was great and let us walk through the stable yard to get to the farm house which saved us a long, long walk round. The cottage is lovely. Very spacious and so clean.... More

Booking could not have been easier, we were given directions to the farmhouse which were really helpful. The farmhouse is magnificent, clean, spacious with outstanding views of the countryside. There is everything that you need for a weekend away and the little personal touches made the stay even more enjoyable. The hot tub is amazing, very spacious for the 6... More

This was our fifth visit to Sue's holiday home. We've stayed in the farmhouse with our children and this time in the cottage for just the two of us. As always the place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Sue is very friendly and is always on hand if you need anything. The hottub is the cleanest we have ever... More

I've stayed here twice, once with friends and once with family. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make a full blown roast dinner and more. The hot tub is lovely and has beautiful views. The kitchen looks onto a working stable which is great to be able to watch. There are quite a few steps all... More
