We spent 2 nights in this town centre hotel and were very comfortable in our twin room which was clean, warm, and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great with a good choice and plenty of fresh fruit. We appreciated the central location and the parking available. Close to the station also.

My wife and 19 month-old son stayed in room 6, which is very nicely appointed and warm on a chilly evening. The breakfast was really terrific, with lots of fresh fruit (including strawberries and blueberries) to start, and a really fresh, hot cooked breakfast. My son, as usual, didn't want to stay put for the meal; he ran around in...

A group of us stayed from Friday to Monday as we were in the area for a weekend of hiking. Some of the party stayed in twin rooms and myself and others had single-occupancy double rooms. Everyone seemed very satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and also the breakfast (Quite important if you're off to attack Pendle...

We spent a few days in the Old Posthouse Hotel. The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well, breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants. Would definitely go back again.

We spent a most satisfying one night stay here. The hotel is best described as traditional, with decent size rooms and en-suites. Cleanliness was very evident and the bed very comfortable. It is a bonus to find a town centre hotel with its own inclusive car park. Breakfast choice was surprisingly large and ours came beautifully cooked with perfect poached...

Attending a family wedding with my husband and two daughters, we had a double and twin room both rooms ensuite. Tea/coffee machines with excellent selection choice of drinks. Free shower/bath and shampoo, soap dispenser and hair dryers saves room in bag. Lovely choice of cereals, fresh juices, preserves, toast and real butter, fruit and choices of cooked dishes for breakfast. Staff...

Over nigh stay with wife and Granddaughter in a family room. Comfortable night in spite of the hot weather. A good choice of options at breakfast, including a choice of cooked breakfast. Evening menu in the restaurant is not very adventurous rather a dull choice which I felt it was not worth buying a bottle of wine. I would like...

There is a brochure in the hotel that describes the Old Post house as Clitheroes premier hotel - I would hate to see what the others are like. The general public areas are tired and a bit shabby. The large dining room lacks atmosphere and isnt very welcoming. Having said that the breakfast choice is really very good and the...

Warm welcome, friendly staff and lovely twin room as advertised. Great choice of breakfast options, and served with a warm smile. Couldn't have been happier, stayed with my sister, and would stay again.
