I stayed here the night before my wedding. It's a lovely, quaint little hotel and the room was nice, if not slightly tired and in need of a bit of TLC....but that's only a minor point and wasn't a major issue. Breakfast was good, not that I ate much of it with my nerves, but I can definitely recommend this... More

Quite a modern styling to the pub with most of it given over to food. We were there for Sunday lunch. Mushroom soup to start-a bit bland, could do with a bit more flavour punch; I had the roast beef-lots of veg and roast potatoes with nice gravy. Beef was a touch chewy for my liking. Hot pot looked delicious.... More

We booked on the WA website and got a great b & b price. Check in was smooth with all necessary info explained. Booked for dinner and offered a choice of seating areas. Room was very cosy with a bath as an unexpected bonus. After a lovely walk around the area, had a nice hot sandwich - pulled pork, went... More

My wife and I visited the Waddington Arms (WA) for the second time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We arrived the day of the famous "duck race" and whilst it was busy the staff couldn't do enough to make our visit any more special. We had booked bed, breakfast and evening meal and were shown to our comfortable bedroom situated... More

This is our 5th visit to the Waddington Arms in the beautiful village of Waddington in Lancashire. The reason we initially went is that we were told that this pub/hotel is very dog friendly and that is indeed the case. It is an extremely welcoming place both for humans as well. The food is excellent and the menu quite varied... More

Fourth time staying at the Waddington Arms. Never disappoints and we are always made to feel very welcome (including our two dogs). The staff are attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent with a wide choice, good size portions, well cooked and presented. Breakfast is a must have - cooked to order and served... More

Room was spotless and cosy with good quality bed linen and toiletries. Food at dinner was a good standard as was breakfast - small negative was coffee at breakfast which was weak and undrinkable. Lady at breakfast deserves a special mention. Although not a problem at all for us, noise from the bar and creaking floorboards/doors may be an issue... More

We received a very warm welcome from the staff on arrival, who explained everything we needed to know on check in. We stayed in room 1, which is set at the front of the property with a fairly busy road (during the day) and a church clock that rings every 15 mins. Fortunately for us (who are light sleepers) we...
