We came here on route to Langho for lunch, we were greeted on arrival by very friendly staff. We had a lovely meal here with great ales and wines and were given really lovely info about the surrounding areas and what to expect as it was a first time visiting. i really would recommend both the food and location were... It looks right, feels ok, the people are friendly and attentive and the menu is gratifyingly short. However our food was really not up to expectations, mine tasted fine but didn't look appetising, however my colleague found his steak inedible and management took It away and off the bill. Ok it was Thursday and not busy but they should really... More

We visited the Parkers Arms this weekend to celebrate our son's birthday. This "dining pub" must be the best we have ever eaten in-and outclassed many swanky restaurants. The service was friendly and efficient without being pushy, the menu was unique, varied and interesting, offering fresh local ingredients used in imaginative dishes-all of which were delicious and memorable. Never before... More

We stayed the night whilst on a cycling tour and were warmly welcomed. Our bikes were locked away safely overnight and we were shown to our room, there was no problem turning up in cycling gear. The room had a beautiful view and a large window so it was bright and cheerful. It also had tea and filter coffee making... More

Called in for a light lunch we hadn't book but they arranged tables to accommodate all 13 of us. We were given the menus from a very polite waiter who then asked if we could limit the choice to only 4 dishes as we were a large group. We only wanted sandwiches or something light but there was nothing on... More

Went between Christmas and New Year and had a wonderful meal. The burger was cooked to my liking and very tasty. Service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. A quirky pub and worth a visit.

Amazing pies as always, dog friendly and a lovely birthday lunch. The staff were friendly and the food devine! Such a treat to have on the doorstep and the elderflower fizz (none alcoholic) was superb!

If the option had been there, I would have given this 2.5 / 5. My boyfriend had wanted to try The Parkers Arms for some time, so this weekend we decided to go. I have noticed that a lot of reviewers are from patrons who also stayed overnight - we only had lunch. We had heard very positive things about... More

Stayed here and had dinner here. Room was just about clean enough but decidedly second rate with tatty bathroom. We certainly won't stay again. A pity as the food is well above average - some sophisticated touches and good atmosphere in the bar area.

Outstanding pub food. Amazing value, mid week, for dinner bed and breakfast. The landlord was very friendly and the menu unusual. For example who has had lamb and cockle pie, excellent! I think we had the best bedroom but even then the bathroom was disappointing.
