We visited Mitton Hall for our friends wedding and stayed in the Queen suite, The room was amazing, lots of space and exquisite in furnishings, the bathroom was amazing, the room was amazing. As a wedding location, or indeed, any location, this is an amazing place. The wedding was fantastic, staff were brilliant. Truly exceptional.

We visited the hotel in the first week of January and we were kindly upgraded to an amazing suite. The room was fab with a lovely bathroom and quality toiletries. The hotel itself was also lovely, especially as we were greeted with a roaring fire in the main room on arrival. We chose a DB&B package and were not disappointed....

I visited yesterday for a family wedding and can only describe the day as 'perfect' from start to finish!! The Staff were attentive, but not intrusive at any moment, the day ran so smoothly and the set-up and turnaround of the rooms was impressive. One lady deserves a thank you and a special mention - the lady who was working...

Went to a wedding at Mitton Hall as an evening guest on 5th January 2016, first appearance was absolutely stunning. Place was quiet, which was refreshing after Christmas. Looked at the menu, drinks were reasonably priced. Not a lot of variety. Bought a pint of Peroni and the girl behind the bar asked us if we would like to watch...

Went for a family meal on New Years Day (10 of us). Considering they had a wedding on and the restaurant was fully booked we couldn't fault the food or the service and will definitely be returning to a stunning venue and great location.

Went for a pre Christmas meal with a group of friends and the property is really nice, a lovely setting. Unfortunately the service associated with e Greeting when we arrived, the service in the bar before being shown to the table and the service at the table were disappointing. Example, on arrival we were simply told the table isn't ready...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A four star country house hotel providing luxury accommodation at the heart of the fabulous Ribble Valley. Our big idea for bringing this magnificent 15th Century manor house back to life was to take it back to its roots and make it feel like a home again. Somewhere that looks and feels like it belongs to somebody. Stunning interior design and decoration perfectly complement the ancient architectural features to create a contemporary country house hotel. Both effortlessly beautiful and unashamedly romantic. The ambience is quite unique. It is certainly luxurious and feels exclusive but the luxury and exclusivity are open to all. From a relaxing morning coffee or afternoon tea, to lunch or dinner and for everything in between. ... more   less
