Shame was highly recommend an wish I hadn't gone for my birthday, ruined a birthday lunch with my boyfriend because staff don't have... More

We booked in advance as have been turned away in the past. We had the fish and chips, buttermilk chicken burger, steak burger and chicken pie. The food was very tasty and the chips were excellent. Really crunchy. The kale coleslaw was unusual but nice and the portion sizes were quite large. Although this is a chain real effort is... More

Did not stay at the Hotel element but thoroughly enjoyed the Gastro Pub experience. Nice people to help and serve which makes the difference to any place. The food was wholesome and well prepared but one criticism would be the beef quality was not the best but did not detract too much from how it was - well done.

Unlike many other gastro-type pubs, the quality of food, drink and service are always great at the Malthouse. The menus change reasonably often and there is always something you fancy. Hard to fault really - unless you can't get a table when it's busy....... But you should have booked!!!

This place is brilliant. It always busy here and it's quite simply because the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. We visited for a family birthday and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. There's loads to choose from on the menu. We go quite often and will be making another trip soon!

We have recently dined with extended family and it was lovely. On Friday evening I dined with my husband and it was a very enjoyable and relaxing dinner. We both found our three courses to be well presented and very tasty. Once again the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend the Malthouse for all dining requirements from... More

I've been going for years with friends as its a convenient location to meet. Lovely in the summer outside or inside where it's nice and cozy. I have to say the foods improved and the new decor is lovely. Definitely try the Sunday lunch as its delicious ! Staff are always extremely friendly and helpful.

Lovely location close to the canal and Botany Bay but still convenient for the motorway network. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Didn't eat there in the evening as it was too busy for the number of us. only criticism is the lack of an indoor area space for simply having a drink ( the few outdoor heaters were not... More

I always love staying here the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are so friendly and always have a smile for you. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is fantastic it does get very busy so I would advise book in plenty of time so you won't be disappointed and have to wait long.
