We stayed last Saturday night and from the moment I booked the rooms by phone until the moment we left, the service was very friendly and efficient. It was incredible value for money, large rooms, both individually furnished. They were warm and cosy! Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, from... More

Having made a decision to get away for a night, my wife and I searched the internet for a hotel within an hour’s drive of our home with some interesting stately homes or similar attractions to visit. After some research we came across The Rose House Hotel in Burnley, which seemed ideal for our purpose and was close to Townley... More

Booked this hotel last minute and had no idea what it would be like. Loved it, brilliant staff, excellent breakfast and terrific value. There's a lovely bar and restaurant and a few pubs within easy walking distance.

Stayed in single room number 3 on 5th Nov 2015. On entering bedroom door, the corner of wardrobe is so close to door, one would have to be extremely cautious of preventing hitting one 's head or face into corner of wardrobe. Bedroom furniture shabby. In fact, the whole hotel could do with major face lift in decor, furniture and... More

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. The room decor is obviously not to your taste as it has been recently redecorated with French furniture and had a brand new carpet and a complete make over.To say the room was dirty is infact a blatant lie. Had you made a complaint at the the... More

This was a last minute decision due to family illness. Needing a hotel in Burnley for a few nights for my wife and I my first call was to Trip Adviser as usual I looked at the reviews. I have to agree with many of the comments, this place is 'a gem', full of character and certainly a 'find' We... More

Rosehill house is a real gem and full of old world charm and character which some thing these new Travelodge rabbit hutch style "hotels" will never have! Staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the food was tasty and the bar had a lovely log fire and comfortable leather seats. I only wish that I had more time... More

Although at the top of a very steep hill it was worth all the effort. The hotel staff are friendly and very welcoming. The décor is very different with the original finishes and the whole hotel feels comfortable and relaxing. It appears that no two bedrooms are the same each having its own individuality including a 'real' key . Breakfast... More

Stayed here for one night (24/10/15). Booked a single room. The hotel is just off the Manchester road in Burnley. Although surrounded by housing the place is easy enough to find using the directions given on the website. Check in was straight forward and the staff on duty were friendly and efficient. Rosehill house was built for a mill owner... More
