Visited twice in last month, 1st visit staff inattentive, one moaned about how he was feeling. The food was good on this occasion and worth the visit. Attended again this week, staff again mostly poor and some unfriendly , hot food arrived but it was cold especially the chips, they were replaced with fresh when we complained. This shouldn’t happen if staff actually care about good service and quality. I have stayed there once, eaten dozens of times, overall venue brilliant, food can be good but it’s pot luck with quality and depends what staff are on duty if it’s a good experience.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, usually with a friend but this time with my daughter. As a wheel chair user, I always book the accessible twin room. The staff always help with getting my powered wheel car in and out of our car. The staff cannot do enough for me. It’s a great hotel with a lovely breakfast and we always have dinner there. We usually have a window seat with the lovely views over looking the sea. In fact we had such a fabulous time we are staying at the Marine Hotel again in three weeks time again!

Stayed for two nights in a front room overlooking the sea. Room was pleasant and staff were very attentive and friendly. The room as in most hotels lacks sockets and no sign of a USB socket anywhere. The food in the hotel is excellent. The main reason I have given it a 2 is the fact WIFI is almost no existant. They use the cloud system which is not secure. It took be nearly an hour to log on via my iPad after several attempts with the signal dropping out then having to start over each time. Even when on it kept dropping out. My wife tried over two days to log on via her laptop without luck. If you use the WIFI for business then you need to look elsewhere I am afraid. Such a pity as if this was not an issue I would of given it a 4

We visited the marine hotel in sept for 2 nights and was very relaxing it’s a walk away from Whitstable . The staff are and were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you on your stay , they kept to the social distance rules and the hotel was very clean . My only complaint (if I have to make one ) is the table on the balcony is rather big and could do with new smaller round tables . This was the view from our room , watching the sun go down in front of hotel and much enjoyed desert . You have free parking near the hotel and behind the hotel . Which is always a bonus to a break away .

Great bar and restaurant. With great food and staff. If its a nice day you can sit outside and look over tankerton slopes. The hotel is average and overpriced. The rooms small. Beds up against the walk way so you hear passing fellow guests through the night. Walls are thin in each direction. The car park small had to wait for someone to leave to get a space.
