I booked this hotel on recommendation from a friend for my husbands 70th Birthday. I asked when booking if they could make it special as he deserved it. Well they certainly did make it special with an upgraded room at no extra cost. The staff...More
We were given a very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived for our afternoon tea. All the staff were very attentive, particularly the delightful John who made sure we had plenty of fresh pots of tea, and kindly showed us around this lovely hotel....More
Lovely hotel . Rooms beautifully decorated and comfy . Good size . Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly . I would definitely recommend . Beautiful terrace which will be lovely in the summer . Well located for Canterbury or Dover

There were children staying in the hotel during the time of our stay. There is a large open space around the hotel for the children to run around in, however there is limited space inside. There are board games left out in the lounge, including backgammon and a compendium of games. A children's menu was available for breakfast but I am unsure about dinner. The children were young in age and appeared quite happy in their surroundings. The staff were attentive to both children and adults alike.
I hope this has helped you to make your decision.
