A very comfortable stay - despite being very wet underfoot, the round of golf was very enjoyable; the hotel room was excellent, with great views over the course; the food was delicious; and the staff very friendly.

The sign of a very good business is surely how they handle things in a crisis. This fabulous hotel and the wonderful team of people we met there could not have done more to make us feel good when we arrived totally exhausted and very stressed. We had driven from the very south of France to eurotunnel the day after lockdown in France due to Corvid 19 was announced and we arrived late in Kent after a 10 hour drive, tired, stressed and very hungry to find a warm welcome from this hotel. We were given a lovely warm comfortable room and greeted by staff whose priority seemed to be to make us happy and relaxed. We then had a fantastic dinner in the Brasserie and were served by a charming young woman from Poland who made us smile for the first time in days. This hotel is in such a beautiful and quiet location very close to the tunnel etc and we had a comfortable bed and a lovely peaceful nights sleep. We finally felt we had come home. I cannot praise this hotel staff enough for just carrying on doing their job and welcoming customers with a smile in a crisis situation. Another big shout out to Sue on reception, to the lovely young women who was cleaning reception the following morning and who gave us very helpful advice on where to go to shop for food and to the Owner who is determined that this awful virus will not prevent him from continuing to run his business to provide a perfect haven for his hotel guests. When all of this is over we will go back to stay there, play golf and eat lovely food. Thank you London Beach!

Went for afternoon tea which I have to say was the quantity was excellent value, but the finesse of serving could be better. The tea came quite a while before the sandwiches and scones. We sat in a dining room overlooking what I would imagine on a dry bright day to be wonderful views, but it was wet outside freezing cold inside, we had to wear our damp pashminas.... The staff were attentive enough, but they are all too young to really manage a dining room let alone a hotel. A waiter lifted his shirt to show a waitress something, in the dining room! REALLY?! The hotel itself looked tired, it is in a 1990s time warp, clean enough on the surface just doesn’t look loved. The spa looked ok, (had a sneaky peak) didn’t really warm to the receptionist in there though. Felt like I was an inconvenience... however, the front of house receptionist was better, but like the hotel interior she could have been smarter. I guess I’m used to paying London prices and getting London service.

Amazing place from the moment I arrived. I was made to feel welcomed. The staff are amazing and a credit to this establishment. And as for Ryan the PGA golf coach he is legend. Being new to the game and needing help he kept it simple for me to improve. I feel I can now call myself a novice golfer compared to some guy who hit balls on a range half a dozen of times. Thank you all

Recently stayed here as a little getaway and pamper for myself and my girlfriend. Deliberately arrived a couple of hours earlier than check in time so we could relax in the pool/jacuzzi before unpacking only to be told that to use the spa facilities it was an extra £25.00 per person! I (later) understood that on booking.com it states that these are ‘extras’ and the receptionist explained that several guests make the same mistake. Now if that’s the case, surely advertising it as a hotel AND spa is misleading and I’m not the only one that was misled. Surely this is easily rectified. Other than the pleasant Italian bar man it was a total letdown. Disappointed.
