We stayed at Elvey Farm in one of the Oast house rooms during August. We found the location idyllic with peaceful rolling countryside on all sides. The rooms are not luxurious, with things like broken bathroom tiles, dirty carpets, paint flaking etc, but are more along the 'shabby chic' lines! TV, mobile and WiFi signal are non existent also. Cleanliness... More

We were married at Elvey Farm in 2013 so wanted to come back to celebrate our anniversary, as we had the most incredible and special day. We booked the Canterbury suite which also includes the hot tub. Upon arrival we went to the reception area where we were given the keys to our room. The very first thing we noticed... More

For our visit we were given the double room in the oast (which houses TWO bedrooms). it was our first experience of a circular room! It is really quiet and peaceful at Elvey Farm and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is a "hybrid"; serve yourself for cereals etc with your main course beautifully cooked in the kitchen. We... More

£150 for the oast house for 1 night to celebrate my birthday- but guess what's included!?- total strangers to share the oast house living facilities with!!!! BE CAUTIOUS AS THIS IS NOT MENTIONED ON THE WEBSITE AND IS DISGUSTING- WHO KNOWS WHO YOU WILL END UP WITH!!!!! I asked a member of staff if they would share a room with... More

Our first visit out to Elvey Farm for an Italian themed Fathers Day picnic. The food was presented in old jam jars of various sizes in a hamper. Plenty to eat, and all of it tasted good. Personal service and a very pleasant open air environment to eat in, but there is a restaurant if the weather isn't good. They... More

Stayed here as part of my partner's 40th birthday celebrations. We were stunned by the rural surroundings and had the weather been nice, we would have gone for a long walk, but unfortunately it was raining. The greeting we received was warm and friendly and we were shown to our amazing suite, Penshurst. It was beautifully decorated and very clean.... More

We stayed at Elvey Farm in the Canterbury Room and despite wanting to relax and love everything about it, it just felt a let down. On a positive note the location is gorgeous and the room we had was beautiful. The breakfast was ok and that's where the positives end. We paid £275 for our room inclusive of the dead... More

We went to a surprise party for a friend and although we are local and have visited the Rose and Crown pub over the years had not known about this place. Were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely location and property, friendly staff and very nice afternoon tea with no empty stomach's at the end. Will be taking the in-laws and recommending... More

Had a good stay at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and not intrusive. They were also very accommodating, even when I asked for breakfast at 2.15am. They made sure that the buffet was out and had fresh milk, yoghurt and juices available. I am sure if I had asked for cooked food they would have had someone on... More
