We visited this hotel with a coach party. Not too pleased by the area as we got nearer, but on arrival we were welcomed inside with a cup of tea or coffee and then told how to find our rooms, what time meals where, bar times and other important details. Our luggage was taken to our rooms by the VERY...

We went here for a function and it didn't go terribly well. As you arrive you come into foyer / bar area that could do with dressing up a little, it's quite sparse and with a little imagination it could be wonderful, there are views across the sea to die for. Then the nightmare began. We were a big but...

We needed somewhere to stay after being let down at another hotel and from the first phone call Smiths Court did their best to help in any way they could. They found us a great room overlooking the sea and did us a deal for three nights. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful.

We stayed in Room 9 (honeymoon suite) as this was offered to us for a small extra fee. The Canopy King-sized bed was so comfy and the sheets crisp white cotton. The room had a big flat screen TV plus a Safe, and two Armchairs to appreciate the sea view. There was plenty of tea bags and coffee and milk...

The reception staff were lovely, our booking requirements (through Late rooms) had only partially been received by them but this was sorted out in a speedy manner while we had lunch in the lounge. There are steep steps up to the front door and a short ramp up to the back door. On entering our first impression was of a...

I booked in for one night on Easter Sunday (via the very friendly and helpful staff at Margate Tourist Information). I chose this hotel because they have an in-house restaurant and, it being Easter Sunday, I wanted to be sure of a place to eat that evening. The room was cramped and shabby, with dangerous electrical wiring and a broken...

Not the most luxurious of hotels, but for an overnight stay (having Bern to a concert at threw Winter Garden), this was a fantastic place to stay. We had a nice clean room, overlooking the sea, it was nice and quiet and very comfortable. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast! An absolute delight, really good freshly cooked food...

The hotels tries very hard but just does not quite get it right. The hotel is a bit tired and needs a refit. We had a room at the front which was big spacious with a full kitchen. The bathroom or shower room was far two small and was uncomfortable. The food at times was excellent and then was average...
