Entrance hall immaculate as was the stairs up to the room you were also greeted with a very pleasing smell. We were then greeted by the owner who checked our booking then escorted us to our room and showed us around. On entering the room we found it to be stunningly decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. The bathroom was an... More

this is our 2 nd visit to Malt lodge. I try and take my mum for few days a couple of times a year and we decided to return to malt lodge as we had such a great stay last time. Again everything we needed was available, it is central for everything we need to get to other destinations easily... More

We were stopping overnight on route to the euro tunnel and this place was perfect. I am always nervous of B&Bs because you never really get what you think you're booking but this place was great. Location was great, right next to a small pay and display carpark (only pay up to 6pm). Owner Richard met us on arrival, really... More

We stayed at Malt Lodge for one night Last week in a double room on the first floor. Whilst small, we had everything we needed, comfortable bed, tea and coffee, cold bottled water, even a bowl of fruit. Our en-suite was large (would have preferred a shower to a bath, but that is nik-picking) Everything was scrupulously clean and the... More

My daughter and I booked for 4 nights. Clean comfortable twin room. Run by a very nice friendly couple. Plenty of tea and coffee in room and even a little bowl of fruit. Hardly heard the other guests and hardly any passing traffic. Would recommend this as a nice place to stay and reasonably priced. Would Brel here again if... More

We stayed at Malt Lodge last night (New Years Eve) in the family room and couldn't fault a thing, we had 3 single beds and a futon which were all very comfortable. There was nice little touches in the room and we were all made to feel very welcome, I would highly recommend this place to stay, Mrs Cleary

We stayed in their family room with 3 single beds, lovely room, very comfortable. Shame we were only there for one night, would definitely recommend and we will come back. Parking is very convenient located. We didn't have breakfast and had only booked room only as this met our needs perfectly.

The location is central in Hythe, the room was nicely appointed and comfortable but at £60 per night for a single guest it was overpriced. I had a twin room and the TVwas fixed to the wall in such a way that it could only comfortably be viewed from one bed. The room was overpriced as breakfast is not included,... More

Fridge was helpful as we put milk in for cereal for my son who is hungry at 6.30am so didn't order breakfast here. we had a complimentary fruit-bowl too which was a nice touch. good location at the...
