When I originally booked over the phone, I was told by the owners daughter that double/twin rooms were £50pn and because they were unable to provide breakfast I would be given a discount. When I arrived the owner informed me he would be charging me £55pn and there was no discount or breakfast. When I questioned this and explained what... More

Spent two nights here as perfect position to watch airshow from seating in front garden as advertised.Rooms were just about big enough to accommodate twin beds with very small en suite, this made them very hot.Our room was on the second floor,no lift, and our friends were on the first at the back of the house overlooking more backs of houses.Family... My family arrived here form the midlands to find their reservation gone! After being stuck in traffic and eventually arriving, they were told the room was no longer available. This was shouted out by a woman in the front garden. Not sure if this was the owner as she was carrying a can of drink and amongst a group of... More

I am not going to pretend that this is The Ritz, but considering that there was a group of 4 adults, plus one child sharing a family room, this guest house was very good value for money. It was situated on Herne Bay's beachfront, with all local amenities and cafe's within a minute's walk. The owner seemed quite friendly and... More

Lovely owner, really friendly and helpful, shame he is selling. Good value for money, room nice and very clean. Easy access and relaxed atmosphere, made the stay very simple. Left bikes locked up outside overnight and they were safe. Great location.

The place was very clean and ideally situated, w were able to book the family room which had a first class view of the sea from both windows. Whilst the guest house is a little dated the linen on the beds was impeccable and the room including the ensuite was impeccable . I would stay again in this room and... More

We would echo recent reviews; the place is spotless and well maintained, the bed was newish and very comfortable, and the owner was very welcoming, but with no breakfast for £55 pound per night for a very, very small room (room 5) this is not good value? Don't be totally put off however, we had to stay here at the... More

We booked only a day or 2 beforehand, but there was still a room available. Were told that there would be no breakfast, but as said in other reviews, there's a wheterspoon a few doors further. Did not get a discount though en forgot to ask, so think about this yourself! The room itself was small but clean. Only saw... More

Booked on the phone, on the day after all the places at top of the Trip Advisor list were full. Advised that no breakfast available so price discounted to £55 for the night. Only saw the vendor to collect keys and pay, instructed to leave them in the hall on departure. Room 5 is a cupboard, could not shut shower... More
