I have never been camping before and I went with my husband and my 9 and 7 year old. The freedom the children enjoyed was great - they were on their bikes all day. Fields were not too crowded - toilets were clean and the shower a were regularly mopped out. We had out logs and marshmallows and hay bales...

Lots of fields run by local kids ! Lots of dirt in the shower and the toilet ! (plurals not used on purpose) Lots of owls - which the staff chase around at night demanding that they keep quiet ! Lots of eco references as an excuse not to do too much, as it's nature ! Lots of money to...

I cannot agree more with previous reviewer's comments regarding how wonderful this site is in terms of its huge fields, plentiful space, beautiful wooded areas (with bridges, streams and ropes wings) and lovely views. Great music and fish and chips on the Saturday evening (which gives a festival feel), bushcraft courses for all and camp fires all add to the...

This was a first time experience for us as a family and Bedgebury certainly didn't disappoint! We had a great weekend (go for at least 2 nights) and were really lucky with the weather - beautiful all weekend. With a fish and chip van on the Saturday night and live music it was a really fun family weekend. We took...

3 friends and I (ages 25-30) went to Bedgebury for the weekend at the start of August. Everyone there was super helpful and the campsite was amazing. The loos are well maintained and clean, the site is eco-friendly, you can buy firewood and kindling to burn in the fire pits and there is no amplified music allowed on site which...

The website states no refunds if cancelling within two weeks - unfortunately days before our visit (& Tom Jones Forest Concert), a family member had emergency surgery. Expecting to lose a lot of money, I was very pleased (and grateful) to receive an email saying we would be welcome to visit during the season at no extra charge! The field...

I have been to Bedgebury a few times and love the relaxed feel of the site. I would love to be able to play music, but each site has rules that work well for them. its a great site for families, as there are loads of great area in which kids can play. I found the staff really helpful and...

We spent last weekend at Bedgebury, camping with another family. We could not have had a better time!...this campsite is a gem-it manages to combine the benefits of a large campsite (loads of space, no allocated pitches) with the character and friendliness of a smaller campsite. The highlights include being able to have a campfire (including hire of a cooking...

Great campsite with lots of wonderful wide open spaces for outdoor games, a large on-site teepee where live entertainment is played if an evening, lots of workshops going on for everyone to take part in (bushcraft, den building, archery etc), lots of woodland to explore, rope and tyre swings dotted around the site and a stream to do a bit...

My husband and I (and the dog) wanted to have a nice quite weekend away and that's exactly what we got. This campsite is really well setup, with a field/area to suit everyone's needs. When you book via the website you're asked some questions about your visit, this helps them to decide which area is best suited to your needs,...
