What a lovely woman, warm, friendly, welcoming, with a great sense of humour.. She does her very best to fit around YOU and makes YOU feel special. For me the rooms are... More

I am a college student who was traveling alone when I stayed in Gladstone House for a weekend. Since I was traveling alone, I expected the experience to be a little bit lonely, but Mary made me feel right at home in her charming B&B and her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. The rooms are all cozy... More

I have just walked the Saxon Shore Way, 170 miles between Gravesend and Hastings, staying in 10 different places over 14 nights, and this was the highlight! I had a comfortable and prettily decorated ensuite room under the eaves, but it was the hostess, Mary, who was the real star. Her breakfast was full, tasty and generous and she herself... More

Irish eyes must have been smiling down on me when they led me to this delightful place. My room was spacious and decorated with charm and character . After a recent stay in France where my wife and I were provided with two tiny hand towels for our ablutions, I was amazed to see Mary had provided FOUR generously sized... More

This is a small house on a homey street in the wonderful town of Faversham. The town is historic and interesting to stroll around, but the room in the B&B was quite up-to-date. It was beautifully appointed and had a modern bathroom. Mary Mckay, the owner, puts it over the top with her warm and expansive personality. She presents a... More
