The Five Bells – Ringwould Date of visit – 19 September 2016 Friends of the Mole Hash House Harriers chose The Five Bells as the venue for one of their runs. Food was ordered before we set off at 7.30pm. Food was ordered for 9pm but as the pub only serves food until 9pm, it was definitely ‘last orders’ for... More

I think anyone who gives this place five must be dumb blind and deaf! No parking at all and took me ten minutes to get a mumbled erh don't park outside the cottages. After finding a parking spot it was another mumbled not ready come back in an hour. The place looked OK tidy and cosy so we went of... More

Chose this place because it enabled us to walk the Kent coastline in both directions across a three night stay. Walmer, Kingsdown, Deal, Martin, St. Margaret's and Dover (the last one...just!) reachable on foot from Ringwould. The pub is great, reasonably priced, nice and varied areas to sit inside and out, tasty food. Had dinner there one evening and were... More

Came to The Five Bells for dinner as we're staying down the road for a couple of days. The selection was OK. The drinks were OK. The prices are OK. The food took nearly an hour to come out (the children kept asking where their food was and saying they were hungry) When the food came... The lamb curry (a... More

Arrived Friday just after mid day. Check in - fine. The manager was very nice and a great host. We learnt that he had been called in to run the place. The accommodation was great. We raised the issue concerning free breakfasts, it was asserted that there was no free breakfast. We checked on Google, typed in Five Bells Ringwould.... More

When we arrived we were lucky to get parked, got our luggage and walked into the bar...to be told quite sternly, you should have gone round the side entrance...there is no signage... More
