Highly recommend staying at Clouse Lane Bed & Breakfast. The owner’s sister greeted us at the door welcoming us, with our keep in her hand. She showed us our room which was just beautiful...Saratoga. The bed was wonderful and the room was very comfy. Also greeting us at the front door was a plate of chocolate chip cookies. They also had easy access after hours and the owner’s sister stays on the third floor. We would stay there again...highly recommend the place.

Newly renovated and gorgeous! Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly, we felt at home immediately. We stayed in the Lexington Suite, which consisted of a large bedroom, adjoining sitting room with gas fireplace, and Jack and Jill bathroom. Everything was spotless and of the utmost quality. We were served a full, hot breakfast in a beautiful dining room with a view of their spacious property. We'll definitely go back!!

This was my first stay at Clouse Lane and I will be back. It’s on a country lane, but only a short walk to Downtown Granville. This B&B just re-opened under new ownership. It has just been renovated, is well-decorated, spotless, and the perfect combination of classy and calming. I love the wide-planked pine wood floors, and antique furnishings, as well as the gorgeous window treatments. “Charming” is every B&B (hopefully),but Clouse Lane is beyond charming. I stayed in the Lexington (a suite), and enjoyed a comfortably firm bed, spacious bathroom, and a sitting room with fireplace and additional sleeping space: it has a sleeper sofa that’s nice to sleep on, I was told, with upgraded memory foam mattress. It is obvious that the Julians are passionate about creating comfortable, uncluttered, impeccably clean spaces, and they should be proud of their newly completed renovation. They are also great hosts! I was greeted with cookies and coffee/tea when I checked in, as well as suggestions about activities in Granville, which helped make my stay much more fun and interesting. I went to a lecture/roundtable discussion at Denison University in the evening, walked the TJ Evans trail the next morning (right down the street), and in the afternoon took a guided tour of the Robbins Hunter Museum in Downtown Granville. I also enjoyed some window shopping, and ate at Alfie’s deli. I can’t forget to write about my B&B breakfast. There were so many offerings: delicious croissant egg bake, banana muffins, juice, yogurt, tea/coffee, and coffeecake with fruit. The presentation was perfect! All in all, I had an amazing stay in Granville.
