The hotel itself is large, clean, easy to find, has good parking and a really good breakfast range. So far so good. What makes it fantastic is the exceptional level of service we experienced from the young buzzy staff. Kieran in particular absolutely made our stay. We felt we were asking him for things every five minutes as we were... More

Whilst we were on holiday we visited Blexley to see our Granddaughter who lives there. We went to the George for a light lunch & catch up. The service was first class, staff very friendly and efficient. We ordered a club sandwich with sides which I must say was one of the best we have ever had. The atmosphere was... More

Everyone at the hotel was so warm and friendly and could not do enough to make my parents stay a very happy and memorable one. One of the waitresses even took some photos of my parents cutting their anniversary cake, which she had printed out for them as a surprise, which are much treasured. A big thank you to the... More

Made welcome. Excellent food. Considerate and friendly sfaff. Four star rooms. A relaxing break doing some family history research. Central position for visiting many attractions in Kent and Sussex. Couldn't ask for more!

Stayed for one night. Staff were friendly and polite, food was great at lunch (paid for on top) however we did not stay for breakfast as it opened too late. In a nice location and handy for what we needed. Bit over priced if I'm honest. Beds not particularly comfy or very big at all. Car park was ok but... More

Two night stay as a base to visit Sissinghurst Gardens. Quirky rooms, but perhaps the finest service we have experienced over many years of travelling - worldwide & domestic. All staff ( front of house & behind the scenes ) know what they are doing, but is the friendliness and attention to detail that takes some beating. Shifts meant that... More

My friend and I stayed here for one night when walking the High Weald Landscape Trail. We loved it. The staff were welcoming, warm and friendly; our rooms (standard doubles) were great - very comfy beds, lovely baths, power showers, and mine had a view of the High Street. Slept extremely well and had a really good full English breakfast.... More

This inn is about 400 years old but the rooms have been updated very well except for the uneven floors (they actually make one feel as though one is on a boat) and the lack of electrical plugs. The bathroom had a modern tub/shower, sink and toilet. We had a problem with noise: the night we stayed there was the... More

Stayed here as we had visited two wine farms. I booked a superior double. It was clean - However, the bathroom could have done with an up date . I also felt it was on the small size given it was superior. It overlooked the car park and was quiet apart from bottles being put in to the bins late... More
