I visited Stramacchio Italiano with my partner for dinner and was extremely impressed. The restaurant and bar area is very welcoming and the location is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is great as well. Highly recommended.

Was looking for a country restaurant in kent and came up with Stramacchio. We had a brilliant lunch. It's not an easy place to get to but well worth the effort. The drive down country lanes and through lovely little villages was fantastic. The restaurant decor was clean, crisp and welcoming. The homemade bread was very moreish, the food was...

Overall a very nice environment. A big mixture of feelings about this place, charming staff although a little "shy" Food good and mediocre in equal parts, amazing bresaola, over seasoned pasta and overcooked prawns, very over reheated porchetta. They were very accommodating to one of our table who had chosen a very plain meal in advance. Wines good and very...

We chose Stramacchio because of the quality of the room and the promise of the excellent food. The room was great and the owners very friendly and we did have a comfortable stay. They are very dog friendly which is a real plus and it is undoubtedly a comfortable and characterful place to stay. We also enjoyed the walks around...

On arrival we were welcomed and shown around. Our room was delightful and spacious. The bathroom was lovely and there were treats aplenty. We wandered around the land that belongs to the house, spotting rabbits and squirrels, meeting the horses and generally enjoying the fresh air after hours in the car. Our hosts prepared a wonderful Italian meal for dinner....

I only stayed for one night but by the time I left I wanted to live there. Beautiful setting, my room was nicer and nearly bigger than my flat, stunning garden with a swimming pool to look out of the window at. I had to photograph a wedding about 10 mins drive away, the owner offered to drop me off...

We stayed in the Romantica hideaway for one night as we were attending a wedding in the area and also celebrating 9 years "together" anniversary. It was truly a memorable stay. The moment we arrived we were welcomed at our car and Enrico assisted with our bags. We were offered refreshments straight away and we sat by the pool, as...

We were bought a night here by some relatives as a 50th birthday present and what a gift it was! The house is beautiful and is in a lovely rural setting with a lots of traditional features and the interior design aspect has obviously had a lot of careful consideration. But it's not just the scenery here that's top drawer...
