We stayed here after treating ourselves to a wonderful dinner at The West House. While The West House offers beautiful rooms, the prices were a little steep for us. Tudor Cottage is a stones throw away and a fraction of the cost. The host was warm and friendly, and it felt like we were visiting a family member when we stayed. Perfect for somewhere to crash after an incredible meal. Also - a very quaint, traditionally British B&B. If you are travelling for a quintessential British trip - this place is perfect.
Stayed at Tudor cottage ideally placed for a meal at the West house restaurant . Very good accommodation clean and good breakfast . The owner Susan was a wonderful host and all COVID percussions adhered to . Highly reccomend
We recently enjoyed a two night stop over whilst attending the Headcorn Air Show. Susan could not have made us feel more welcome and comfortable during our all too brief stay. A beautiful home that is tastefully decorated and furnished, in keeping with its Tudor heritage. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy, as was the entire setting. A most enjoyable and sensibly portioned breakfast got our mornings off to a perfect start. We highly recommend Tudor Cottage to those planning a trip to the area. We would also thoroughly recommend a visit to the Red Lion, which is a short stroll down the road, for a good solid evening meal in charming and friendly surrounds.
We enjoyed our stay at Tudor Cottage. That attentive owner does everything possible to make her accommodation comfortable, and provides an excellent breakfast, using much local produce. Being an older property, you may care to make sure that all services are suitable for your use, the bathroom /shower in particular. would we stay again, most definitely!
My husband booked a 2 night stay as part of my Christmas present (attending an experience at the nearby Big Cat Sanctuary). My husband chose the accommodation because of its unique charm and period features. Upon arrival we were not disappointed. Beautiful period property and our bedroom was well appointed, and spotlessly clean. Lovely crisp bed linen and very comfortable bed. Immaculate en-suite with fresh clean towels and additional toiletries provided. Yes the en-suite ceiling does slope but this added to the period charm. Susan provided us with a very warm welcome and it is quite apparent she wants her guests to have a comfortable stay. We appreciated the little touches such as removing the bed spread and replenishing tea and coffee in the evening. Breakfast was first class with beautiful locally sourced products and Susan was attentive and ensured we had everything we required. Thank you for your hospitality- we would definitely stay again.…
