We very much enjoyed our 6 night stay with Lynn at Barclay Farmhouse, it really was home from home for comfort, with superb breakfasts thrown in. We had a lovely view from the bedroom window of the beautifully kept garden, in fact everything was of the highest standard. A cliché I know, but to say 'arrive a stranger, leave a... More

Barclay Farmhouse is outstanding. Lynn's hospitality, enthusiasm and extraordinary attention to detail make for a really memorable stay; a great place in an ideal location. World famous gardens, lots of other interesting places to visit nearby and a Michelin starred restaurant just down the road for dinner all add to the appeal. Highly recommended.

We are becoming regulars to this lovely farmhouse B&B. Lynn is a most welcoming owner and clearly relishes her role, caring greatly for her guests' comfort. The result is we enjoy relaxed and restful stays there whenever we go visiting Great Dixter, Sissinghurst and all the lovely attractions nearby. The beautiful and elegant oak decor in our room, a super... More

Barclay Farmhouse was recommended by our friends. We too happily recommend this wonderful place and it's lovely owner, Lynn. Nothing is too much trouble for her to ensure your stay is all you might wish. Our room was spotlessly clean, really comfortable, furnished beautifully and with an immaculate ensuite. Thoughtful touches such as a jug of fresh milk in our... More

We are so happy we chose Barclay Farmhouse for our time in Kent. We were here for 9 nights and enjoyed every one. Our room was clean and pleasant and had everything we needed, the bed quite comfortable, and the power shower was fantastic. Lynn is a thoughtful host and her breakfasts are gourmet feasts, beautifully presented. Barclay Farmhouse is... More

My wife and I have become regular visitors to Barclay Farmhouse, most recently visiting from 23-26 October. The standard at the B&B remains unsurpassed and unsurpassable in my extensive experience and Lynn's welcome wonderful. Her breakfasts are something to dream about. Oh - the pictures on Tripadvisor don't do justice. Especially the first one which shows the holiday cottage's kitchen... More

Our second stay at this B&B and it was just as good as we remembered. We were visiting Great Dixter and Sissinghurst gardens nearby and only had time for one night, but Lynn was so welcoming and kind, again. Great room, comfy and exceptionally clean with good shower. Everything provided thoughtfully, with a well cooked breakfast which we were free... More

We had a wonderful 3 days in Lynn's delightful B&B! Lynn is a gracious hostess with an incredible eye for detail. She notices and cares incredibly well. Her breakfasts were very creative and delicious.

My wife and I stayed at Barclay Farmhouse for 3 nights 8-11 Sept 2015. I can say that the accommodation was of the highest quality and one of the best B&B we have stayed in. It was all the quality touches that made it stand out and Lynn has clearly got an eye for detail. The breakfast was a great... More

We were two couples staying in this clean and very ambitiously decorated and maintained b&b where the personal and professional touch was noticed in everything! Only two things that were annoying and the reason for the rating: if you stay downstairs and there are guests upstairs you hear every step and move they make, also the wifi was not working... More
