This is a difficult review to write, because I normally only write positive reviews. However, we were encouraged to book rooms here after reading good reviews and I think other potential guests should have an honest opinion before deciding to stay at Harvey's. I cannot speak for the rooms in the main building, which may have been perfectly fine, but...

Don't be put off with the B&B being over the shop and narrow staircase. Stayed 1 night only whilst on a sailing trip. The host, Sarah, was very friendly and accommodating - she met me at the B&B earlier than planned as we had come off the boat early and charged me only a small sole occupancy charge for taking...

Excellent accommodation, very relaxed and friendly hostess, excellent room and very good breakfast. Based in the square in the middle of Yarmouth within walking distance of the ferry terminal. Good restaurants only 5 minutes walk away.

First floor rooms over shop of same name up awkward stairs. Our room was small with no more than adequate furnishings and a small en suite bathroom with noisy pumped toilet. Room faced street with early morning vehicle unloading noise. Friendly staff and acceptable breakfast. This is all just ok for the price but only just.

I love staying here and have the same room every time. It is spacious, bright and very comfortable and looks out over the square so there is always something to watch in this delightful haven. I always get a great welcome from Sarah on arrival and I really enjoy her very warm hospitality and delicious breakfasts. On Easter Sunday all...

Great location and very friendly owners. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was above average and overall struggled to fault it. Would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone. Would not be great for very young children as was located on the first floor

Very comfy bed and lovely room. I love having a bath, so I did miss it (shower only)... But the room really was gorgeous. Hostess very friendly, and welcoming. All mod cons provided, too. Would def recommend.

We stayed at this B and B for one night over Easter. Sarah was very welcoming and when I called to book asked what time we would be arriving so she was expecting us first thing in the morning. The location was great right in the centre of town. The room was perfect, decent size, clean, neat and comfortable. On...

I had a very comfortable room overlooking The Square. The bed was a small double and the room had a small en-suite shower and toilet. Breakfast was wonderful and a true English with good quality bacon and sausages. The whole place was beautifully warm and cosy. I stayed for one night for a cycling event and Sarah, the hostess, made...

We have extended family who live in Yarmouth and have been many times over the years - staying at a number of B&B's in and near town. This, without a doubt, is our favourite - for value, location and comfort. Three of us stayed this time (child, mum and grandmother) and Sarah (the proprietor) set up a wonderful room for...
