We have stayed with Brian and Veronica lots of times over the years and every visit is just as enjoyable. The standards are always the same - very high. The whole house is spotlessly clean, the service is excellent as they are a warm and welcoming couple. They serve a lovely breakfast too. Can't wait to go back.

I took Friday off work so I could have a long weekend at Yarmouth, and stayed two nights in May here. Spotlessly clean, well run and friendly. I had a single room at the back of the house. It was bright, airy, light and clean, like everywhere. I could see the bird feeders in the garden from my window, and... More

My wife and I have stayed at Ivy Cottage over the last few years and every stay has been absolutely perfect. The experience is especially one to remember because of the owners Brian and Veronica. They always welcome you on arrival and make you feel comfortable from the beginning which puts you at ease. During your stay they are always... More

If you've not stayed here you don't know what you are missing. Brian and Veronica run this B and B and it is well worth a visit. It is 2 minutes from everything in Yarmouth, ferry, restaurants, pubs, post office etc. As well as being conveniently located it is such a welcoming place and Brian and Veronica are now good... The welcome was very warm. I stayed in the single room which was comfortable and beautifully furnished. The toiletries were high quality as were the towels and bed-linen. There was a good supply of tea and coffee. There is a comfortable lounge downstairs, which again is very tastefully furnished and appointed. Breakfast was lovely - freshly cooked for each guest.... Well we have just returned home from yet another fantastic stay at the wonderful Ivy Cottage. Veronica and Brian are now dear friends after staying so many times. Really wouldn't consider going anywhere else. From the moment you step into the house it's like being home and not in a B&B. the welcome you receive is fantastic, their home is... More

I visited the Ivy cottage 10/5/2014 as one of a group of five men walking around the isle of Wight, we were given a great welcome and the lady even offered to launder our muddy clothes, add to that the beautifully presented rooms and a fine breakfast prior to our departure it left all other accommodation we visited in the... To state the obvious there are two things any B&B absolutely must get right; the rooms and the breakfast. This place succeeds on both fronts. Add to that the hidden third pillar of great hosting and you have a killer combination. The rooms (and for that matter the whole property) are clean, bright and spacious. I was there on my... More
