As usual manager Adam and supervisor Kelly made me very welcome. The hotel is very well maintained and is still as bright and fresh as when it first opened. Ryde Travelodge is in an excellent central location.
Arrived at hotel to be told there was no water due to a fault. We were advised it would be fixed later that night and we should go and buy some bottled water to flush loo etc. Travelodge hadn’t arranged a delivery , even though the water had been off for hours prior to our arrival. So we went out that evening unable to even wash after a long journey. The water was back on the next morning and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good position and staff are friendly. On checking out we were informed that we wouldn’t be charged for the night we spent without water. One month later and still no refund. We have contacted customer services who have advised they are busy and will get back to us. Very poor show from travelodge management dealing with this issue
Location was excellent, a 5 min walk from the bus/train/boats, close to many restaurants and the staff were quick to make suggestions on the better ones. I was in room 9 , it was very spacious, clean and because of the 10pm pub shut downs it was very peaceful. Overall we was very happy with our short stay. The hotel is in a great location within Ryde
We were told that cleaners would not service room while we were there, fine Mirrors in room were filthy, as were the windows Communal corridors were not hoovered in 5 days, same muddy footprints and bits and pieces the whole time we were there (5days). Assume no other communal areas cleaned either
We stayed for a few days at this Travelodge in Ryde and I can highly recommend it. Really good location in Ryde for all local coffee shops, restaurants and bus services for the Island. During our stay there was, unfortunately a problem with the water system and we had no water from 10.30 am for a whole day. Obviously not ideal with everything going on, but the receptionist was superb in the way she dealt with everyones comments and in some cases, complaints. It was totally out of her control as the parts required for the fix had to be bought over from the mainland and as it turned out the issue was finally resolved at around 2 am. We were very pleased and surprised to receive a letter the following morning stating that all guests staying that night would be getting a refund. Sadly I dont know the receptionist name but I spoke to her the following day and praised her for the way she dealt with it all. As a result of this good customer service we will definitely be back.…
