Visited here a few weeks ago for drinks one Sunday night - a poor selection of fairly pricey beers considering they are over the road from Wetherspoons - you would expect them to price a bit more keenly and improve their selection to bring in Wetherspoons customers. Bar staff were rather surly and gave the impression our custom wasn't really...

After reading reviews I wasn't sure what to expect on my two night stay with my two teenage sons. I wanted an inexpensive room with ensuite in Ryde. The location is perfect. You can easily walk it from Ryde port, even with a heavy suitcase. The staff on arrival were really welcoming and friendly to talk to. My first impression...

Back to the crown for the usual August Bank Holiday scooter rally stay. I thought the quality of service from the housekeeping staff had improved this year. The showers were hot and the bar staff equally so. There are no frills here but there's a good honest feel to the place. See you again next year

The positive point was that, allthough we arrived early, we could check-in. After that it seems they were not looking after the hotelrooms at all. Our room was not cleaned the 2nd day and we didn't get clean towels which is not very comfortable as there was no place to dry your towel. The triple room was too small for...

I stay here every August bank holiday and little has changed from last year, a reasonable room rate. Good bed a shower that works , tea and coffee and clean towels daily. As I have stated in previous reviews on this place it's no Hilton, but they don't claim to be, it's a basic hotel room on top of a...

I stayed here in early September for 20 per night. I checked in with a pleasant bar lady and was shown to a first floor room overlooking the main high street. The room was bright and clean and recently redecorated within the previous year. The room had en suite with a new shower, television, power sockets, tea and coffee making...

Very good for the price! When it's a hot summer day outside, it's even hotter in my particular room(No. 8). Like an oven, but all very clean and hygienic. Got more than I'd expected in my room(sink, clean towels and soap etc.)

Went in for a quick drink whilst in Ryde. Waited for ages whilst the barmaid was looking out of the window obviously something more important than her customers. Eventually a young girl with long hair came and served us she was very pleasant and welcoming. Whilst waiting to be served we picked up a menu to look at what food...

Spent 4 nights here for the Isle of Wight Festival. The room was clean and there was a shower with hot water even when we got up after 12 what more do you want. Yes the room was a little on the small side but we where only there for 4 nights and out all day from around noon. We...
