We were warmly greeted by Miles the manager who for a young guy, really knows a thing or two about gin and is extremely welcoming and customer focussed. We had sea bass and risotto (which was really full of amazing Desh flavour) park belly in an incredible sauce. Miles and his well drilled team were really great towards coco and...

Not been in here for years as the last time it as very disappointing BUT not so any more. The refurbishment has transformed this place and it looks fantastic inside - they have managed to retain character while at the same time bringing it up to date and giving an upmarket feel. We only had drinks but the ale was...

We went here for Christamad Eve. The atmosphere was good and the staff were all very friendly. The smoked duck stater was very tasty. However we were a little disappointed with the Camembert sharing plater. The cheese was very small. Not the normal size boxed Camembert you get in other restaurants. Especially when this was intended for two to share!!. We...

A colleague and I visited for lunch as we were early to catch our ferry back to the mainland. We both had the Cajun Chicken Baguette with salad and it was lovely! The service was very good and the staff were very friendly 😄. This place is located just next to the ferry terminal so it's a must to eat...

This Inn was a good stay. It has rooms which although a little small are nice, clean and organised. It has nice quality food in both taste and look. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Being next to the ferry terminal it's very easily accessible. Would stay again

Daughter's favourite on the Isle. Excellent food, drink and service. Started our holiday off here and after being very disappointed elsewhere came back again two days later! Hope your little closure next week allows you to get those little jobs done you want to do!

Although next to the ferry terminal the inn is incredibly quite and in a beautiful location with the beach and local abbey both within walking distance. The food is excellent and good value, service is likewise excellent. Rooms, although small, are clean and comfortable. All in all a highly recommended country pub with good accommodation.

I stayed here last weekend for the first time with my mum who was visiting for the third time. Staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was good and we had an evening meal which was well cooked and lovely tasting

Really nice room and comfortable welcoming bar/restaurant and very convenient being one minute from the ferry terminal. Breakfast was another story, staff too interested in talking than serving - twice asked for coffee and it took 25 minutes from sitting down in the restaurant to the hot part of breakfast arriving. During this time the jams and other items had...

This relaxed, out-of-the-way pub was the first place we headed to on returning to the Isle of Wight after 35 years and it was ideal for a pint or two of excellent cider and some humungous crab sandwiches! We will need to return again soon to sample more of an interesting-looking menu. And just five minutes amble down the road...
