Really nice room and comfortable welcoming bar/restaurant and very convenient being one minute from the ferry terminal. Breakfast was another story, staff too interested in talking than serving - twice asked for coffee and it took 25 minutes from sitting down in the restaurant to the hot part of breakfast arriving. During this time the jams and other items had... More

This relaxed, out-of-the-way pub was the first place we headed to on returning to the Isle of Wight after 35 years and it was ideal for a pint or two of excellent cider and some humungous crab sandwiches! We will need to return again soon to sample more of an interesting-looking menu. And just five minutes amble down the road... More

Bedrooms, dining, pub... Offers baby chairs, smaller size of their dishes yet no baby changing facilities. Had to change our children on the lawn which isnt nice for anyone. Food was average. Only positive is that its next to the ferry terminal

This pub/restaurant is right next to the Fishbourne ferry terminal making it a great spot to start and finish a trip to the island. Very clean with lovely staff and the food is excellent. Highly recommended. The crab and rocket sandwich was the best I have ever had.

Had previously had a bad experience here, but were meeting family en route to ferry back to the mainland. It was a warm Sunday afternoon and there were people in the garden but the restaurant was quite empty. We placed our order and the starters came after a short wait. However, more than an hour later we were still waiting... More

Lovely venue for a short break for our family. The room was well presented and very comfortable for the 4 of us, great view of the sea too. The restaurant was great, a wide selection of meals available. Staff were very pleasant and had a warm welcome. We had a lovely time at The Fishbourne.

I have visited twice this year, once in July and once in August, once in the day time and once in the evening and both times have been extremely impressed! During the lunchtime visit we had cambert to start and ciabattas for main! Brie and cranberry and steak and blue cheese! They are the best ciabatta I have ever had.... More

Visited later in the evening after arriving on the ferry. Felt very welcomed. My 3 year old daughter accidentally smashed a pepper pot off the table and they couldn't have been nicer about it. Instantly felt relaxed here. Food was delicious, and very reasonable. Kids menus went up to 13 and decent portions. Highly recommend.

Stubbled upon this village pub during a sunny afternoon. Great outside area to enjoy the sun or shade, inside is comfortable too. Good was great, seafood was the main focus and was yummy, but other options looked and sounded good too. Price was reasonable, and staff very friendly. Well worth a visit.
