A lovely clean place to stay. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. A great breakfast - shame I was working and not on holiday! Will definitely come back for pleasure and not business next time. A great base for visiting the needles and other nearby attractions

Been to Buttercup House before and still as good, perhaps even better. Excellent breakfast and love the sleigh bed in room 5 - sheer comfort. We like the idea of a separate sitting room gives a far more relaxed stay. Thank you Jacquie and Rob

Stayed here weekend of 21/22/23 August. Beautiful house, plenty of off street parking. Not a sound at night! We stayed in room 5, a huge room with a double bed, 2 single beds and a sofa, a wardrobe with loads of hangers!! Double glazing and a couple of heaters (we didn't need these!) Dressing gowns, tea/coffee etc, ensuite, TV, hairdryer,... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Buttercup House. Friendly and chatty hosts Jaqui and Rob. Room large and plenty of space with tea/coffee available. Breakfasts were excellent, particularly the porridge and home made strawberry jam. Lots of hot water available for showers whenever needed.

Our friends and we stayed here for two nights whilst walking the IOW Coast Path. We had a very comfortable stay, excellent accommodation and friendly welcome, extra choices of breakfast menu was very welcome after having lots of traditional English over previous days. Home made jam a must try.

Really beautiful and perfectly maintained B&B with a very nice landlady. We were lucky enough to have a room with a separate sitting area and an amazingly comfortable bed. Breakfast is prepared freshly and one can choose one day in advance from various options. Totally recommended if you stay in Freshwater.

Stayed at this B&B with our brother and sister-in-law and our cousins for 3 nights. The rooms are very beautifully appointed with lots of space. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and breakfasts were delicious. If we're ever back on the Isle of Wight, we would definitely stay at the Buttercup House.

We love it at buttercup house. It's our only choice when staying West Wight. Jacqui and Rob are fantastic hosts. We stayed Saturday night after requesting and securing our favourite room, top of the stairs with the separate living space and the worlds comfiest bed. The house is beautiful and quiet. The breakfast is superb, there's fresh homemade bread every... More
