Visited here for afternoon tea. Great value for money with a good selection of sandwiches, home made cakes and scones plus tea and prosecco. The staff are incredibly welcoming. Amazing gardens and stunning property. Can't wait to return again.

Staff: very friendly Room: Overall. amazing. A few minor points however; the cold water was not that cold! Also the tv can do with an upgrade. Breakfast/dining area: Poor, badly lit, radio on as background music is not good at all. ruined the atmosphere. We had swearing and rock music doing our breakfast! not good. Lights on patio were out... More

Louise, was very helpful throughout our stay, arranging our room, surprise birthday cake for hubby's birthday weekend. Organising taxi when we arrived off ferry and just in general polite, frendly caring manner and a complete pleasure to talk to. I never take time to complete a review (bad of me I know) Food lush, birthday meal taste wonderful and presentation great. Chef... More

The good Lady and I spent two nights here during Cowes week ( 10 minute walk from the chain Ferry) and loved it. Rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. The Staff are very helpful, chatty and all very nice. Breakfast was good made from high quality ingredients. There is a little road noise at the front of the hotel,... More

This was the 4th place we've stayed on the Isle of Wight, and we definitely won't be back. Duty manager officious on the verge of rude, bed so uncomfortable neither my husband or I slept a wink, fruit salad at breakfast must have been made at least a couple of days before and was starting to ferment, and when I... Using a voucher from The Price is White we booked an afternoon tea at the Albert Cottage. Everything was as good as we hoped it would be, the atmosphere in the restaurant and the gardens were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they re-filled tea pots, offered water and checked that we were happy. The food was... More

Booked the afternoon tea at the Albert Cottage for an extra present for my mums 70th birthday. We shared a Presecco afternoon tea which was really lovely. Three scrumptious tiers of sandwiches, little cakes and scones all washed down with a pot of tea followed by a glass of Prosecco. The staff, especially Sean, were very friendly and attentive, even... The hotel was chosen for its links to the past (being part of the osbourne estate and was occupied by members of the royal household ) and its proximity to Osbourne House and other things I wanted to do over the weekend. It has a good location being also close to Cowes where there are lots of good restaurants. My... More

We stayed here for two nights here. The location was ideal because we wanted to visit Osborne House which is just 15 minutes walk from the hotel which is small with just a dozen or so rooms but we found the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, lots of it and very tasty, spacious bedrooms with large... We had booked an overnight stay to round off our visit to the IOW Festval. From the first step into the hotel we were made most welcome and royally looked after. We had booked a dinner bed and breakfast deal, and what fantastic value. The dinner was excellent with my wife rating her pork main course as one of the... More
