Owners of static caravans deserve a better deal - Escalating costs and insecurity of tenancy are leaving many owners bankrupt and depressed. It makes sense to get your contract scrutinised by a solicitor.

In fairness ) the overworked, underpaid staff do their best. Most of the staff are recruited from the unemployment office, so have little or no experience. The entertainment for the kiddies is very good and the arcade and sports areas cater well for the older children. Bingo!...! Enough said. It is a mystery to me why people still go back and put up with it. Time the media got involved.

When we were owners there appx thirty children trekked off down to the main road everyday to get the school bus. The council can evict you if they find out you are using the camp as a perm address . Park resorts used to ask for a copy of a council tax bill and a utility bill from another property every year to cover their backs, cos the council can prosecute them as well. Don't know how caravan owners are getting round this to be honest. Also if you did get evicted you would lose most of the value of the holiday home cos a caravan without a pitch looses almost all of its value. Say you paid £50k on Thorness bay for a cvan, then tried to sell it off park, you would be lucky to get £5 to £10 k back
