We stayed for two nights for a wedding, with friends who stayed in another room. The welcome on arrival was friendly, check-in simple, and there were tea/coffee facilities with home made biscuits in the room. We stayed in the main house; us in the larger room with a four poster (no. 4 I think), and our friends in the other... More

I have stayed at Crossways before and am glad that standards remain high. I stayed in an outside room this time and enjoyed the sense of independence. I slept well and was not aware of any undue noise from the nearby road. Everything was clean, tidy and well thought out. I don't believe one would get a better breakfast -... More

The B&B is conveniently located opposite Osborne House. Ample car parking spaces and located within walking distance to few pubs. The breakfast is great and the service is good. I stayed in the rooms outside the main building and would encourage te owners to focus on spud proofing. I could hear the people next door snoring through the walls not... More

We stayed at Crossways when we attended a wedding on the IOW. The hospitality was second to none, we had a lovely large room which was very comfortable, with two armchairs and a sofa, tea and coffee making facilities and a large en-suit bathroom. The breakfasts were amazing with delicious home made scones and fresh fruit and then the full... More

Stayed 4 nights during the IOW Festival 2012. Rooms were excellent. Clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding, and the home made scones and cookies were delicious. Marde, your food has put some diets back a few weeks. David made us all feel at home and a nicer gent you will not find. Look no further if you are going... More

My sister and I found this guesthouse on the internet and a group of us arrived (on different times and different days) to celebrate her 70th birthday not knowing what to expect. Dave and Marde could not have been more helpful with the complicated arrangements, the rooms were delightful, breakfasts superb (my wife now copies the healthy option of a... More

What a fantastic place to stay! David is very welcoming and the rooms are lovely, comfortable and well furnished, with home made cookies ready and waiting. Easy to get to and in a lovely location, just opposite Osborne House. The breakfast is amazing; beautiful fresh fruit and local produce, I don't think I have had a better breakfast in any... More

David gave a warm and welcoming arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. Our lodge room was lovely and cosy and came with dressing gowns and a tray of lovely homemade cookies. Flat screen tv with freeview. The most amazing part of the stay was the breakfast the local produce was cooked to perfection, with lovely fresh fruit to start. I... More
