Welcome best described as frosty which turned to icy by breakfast time.
A very stiff uphill walk from Cowes, not recommended for the elderly, infirm or unfit.
Room itself was well equipped with comfy king size bed, good shower and plenty of heat.
Very charming hotel with Victorian style and amazing view of the sea front. Rooms are extremely well looked after and breakfast was a must! All very atmospheric and homely at the same time... amazing hosts! We strongly recommend this hotel.
Villa Rothsay is a hotel in solid British style and interior. The service is excellent and personal. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel has a excellent view to the Solent from most of the rooms.
It is a real old English style home - impressive this kind of places still excist. Try to get one of the top floor rooms with seaview - it is just perfect. Homemade and fresh breakfast - just enjoy and experience the atmosphere all over.
