We stayed at Bonnington Farm 2 years ago and enjoyed our stay. So we decided to book for 2 nights so that we could spend some time in London before our holiday. Although check in is not until 4 o clock we arrived at 09.30 and left our car and bags before getting the train to London. We stayed in...

I stupidly missed my 21.40 flight and quickly looked for available accommodation for the night. I booked with some trepidation having read the latest reiew but needed somewhere to sleep. After a short taxi ride I arrived at 22.30 to be welcomed by a cheerful Malcolm who after a quick chat showed me to my room which had recently been...

I stay away 3 or 4 nights a week with work, at first I thought it'd be nice to get away from the usual, bland Travelodge, Hilton etc. The first problem was finding the place. There was no visible sign from the road, it took me almost half an hour of driving about looking for someone to ask where it...

We arrived at 11.35 on a Saturday night. I had booked a double room with en suite bathroom. We were allocated a twin room with shared bathroom. The room was filthy. The pillowcases were dirty, the carpet had not been vacuumed. We simply got in the car and drove home and lost £70 we had paid

This is not for everybody. If you need a plastic smile, a generic bog standard boring place to spend an enforced night whilst travelling, this is not for you. If, however, you want a cheap and charming place to overnight, then this is for you. There is a distinct difference between standard of life, and standard of living. The owner,...

My family recently stayed here one the first and last nights of our visit to London. As we booked it really as just a place to stay near the airport we really weren't expecting much. This hotel really is a gem. First, the customer service was amazing. Before arriving (both the first and last nights) the owner sent us a...
