This was the perfect getaway for my 1st ever solo trip away!! Ron and Kathy are a wonderful host and hostess in such well-kept historical building in a quiet setting on beautiful grounds overlooking the river!! Their breakfasts as well as their scones are delicious!! Their are many ways to enjoy nature, history, friendly shopping and places to eat within walking distance as well as mule-driven canal boat rides and a beautiful Metro Park nature area a short drive away!!

The Mill House is our favorite getaway. We love the charm of the historic building. The Garden Room has such wonderful windows. The hosts are so easy to talk to but also respect your privacy. The historic downtown gives great shopping and the river walk nearby is a great place to watch nature.

We visit Grand Rapids often but rarely stay as we live 30 minutes away. However, we needed a short time away and didn’t want to drive far. This was the most relaxing weekend we’ve had in a long time. Breakfast was wonderful and Ron and Kathy are very gracious hosts. We will definitely return the next time we need a short respite closer to home!

We loved our stay at the Mill House - almost like being at home! Ron and Kathy are very gracious and sociable hosts, making sure that we did not lack for anything. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the home-cooked breakfasts were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed looking around at the remnants of the old mill within the house. Would love to return someday!

Great location! Clean, and cozy the owners were friendly and breakfast was delicious! It's walking distance to so many local pubs, winery, and restaurants as well as a quaint town shopping experience.

Ron and Kathy are very gracious hosts. The rooms are very well kept. The home is very welcoming to strangers and friends. Kathy serves a delightful breakfast with much finesse. We highly recommend a stay at The Mill House.

Room was beautiful and very clean. Amazing small town; great views and breakfast. Great place to stay for a get away. Must go into all of the shops as there is someone for everyone; lots of local products and amazing restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone

Charming rooms (a converted flour mill), great hosts, terrific breakfast, friendly fellow guests and comfortable beds and rooms. Loved the floors throughout. This was our 2nd time staying at their BnB and we can recommend it without reservation.

Great escape. Lovely inn keepers and picturesque setting. Rooms are well appointed and comfy. Breakfast is outstanding - any special dietary needs are accommodated. Interesting sites and shops within walking distance. Great stop in our summer travels. You will not be disappointed.

Everything about the B & B was excellent. Our hosts were great and so was the breakfast.We stayed for two nights and there was enough stuff to do around town to see and do. We will return sometime for sure.
