We had a wonderful stay, it was only overnight, but next time we want to stay longer, to enjoy the garden. The breakfast was delicious, and I was introduced to cheese farls. Try them, they are yummy. friendly, hospitable hosts, what more needs be said!

I was travelling on my own en route from Devon through the Wye Valley to the Lake District and was delighted to find this Bed and Breakfast. It is absolutely charming and has a beautiful English Country garden. The room was extremely comfortable and as The Steppes is off any road it was extremely quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Martin and... More

It's like being in a Beatrix Potter book with wooden outbuildings housing the well-equipped bedrooms surrounding the thatched chocolate box house. Great breakfast. Chickens running around outside. Very friendly hosts.

A beautiful location and garden. We had the spacious room above the garage which I recommend. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, well cooked and generous portions. A blackcurrant jam and a slightly tart mixed fruit jam were superb. I enjoyed being around the table with other guests for breakfast. Wifi was not too fast.

We only stayed here for one night, with our other pre-booked accommodation letting us down. We managed to get in here and could not fault it. The owners were absolutely lovely and really looked after us. The room was beautiful and of a very good size with an excellent view on to the lovely gardens. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and... We only stayed for one night, but would highly recommend this B&B. We received a very friendly welcome from Lin and Sam the dog and found the accommodation clean and very comfortable. This was all topped off by a delicious, hearty breakfast cooked by Martin. We hope to be back in the future!

Just returned from a two night stay (27th - 28th.June 2016) in the Red room. Beautiful room, beautiful location but close to Hereford which is good for visiting the Cathedral and the town centre. Great selection of breakfasts complete with granary toast and home grown honey served from a "Winnie The Pooh" honeypot. Hosts Lin and Martin very friendly and... More
