My lovely friend took me for afternoon tea today as a birthday treat. The afternoon tea takes place in the main area and walk through in the hotel, right next to the main entrance where the door is constantly opening and letting a draft in. We were seated on normal dining chairs with a low table for our drinks -...

Nice place in need of a tune-up. The rooms were nice and clean and quite cosy. Good breakfast and a nice pub at night. Did not try the lunch/dinner. Would go there aging for sure if I had bussiness there.

I stayed in this hotel as I was going out with friends locally. I have to say I was very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

We stayed here Saturday evening as we were going to a 50th party nearby. The hotel was very comfortable with a lovely fire going in the lounge when we arrived. As we were going out we just had some bar food which was perfectly adequate. We arrived back at the hotel shortly after midnight and that is when the drama...

First of all, even though this is a country-style hotel, it is perfectly feasible to reach by public transport. The #97 and #98 bus from Hitchin town centre and railway station pass the top of the main road which is 10 mins walk away, and the road is footpathed the whole way. A single fare is £2.70. It is also...

From the moment we arrived yesterday Ola greeted us with a huge beaming smile (you never get a second chance to make a first impression). we were with...

We booked an overnight stay here whilst we paid a visit to nearby Bletchley Park. Our room was located on the ground floor and was spacious. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the shower in the bath worked fine. The decoration was a little dated but the room was well maintained. The breakfast buffet the following morning...

Receptionist could have been more welcoming. However, stayed in executive room, nice decor, comfortable bed, big bathroom. 3 course meal included great main course selection, quick service . Excellent breakfast choice.

The external facade is lovely but behind those walls is a hotel in desperate need of some attention. I had to move rooms due to my shower not working and then in the new room I had a staff member banging on my door when I was in the shower because it had leaked to the area below my room....

I was given a voucher by a friend for afternoon tea for two. So my wife and I went. My wife has had afternoon teas at other places and loved them This was not the case here.Firstly the location of where they served tea seemed to be a main thorough fare for the hotel. Workmen and various staff were constantly...
