Stayed one Saturday night to break up our trip on way back from a university visit. Staff were very helpful in getting us checked in and showing us to our room, we had booked one of the new accessible rooms in a building along the back of their property, it was not connected to the main hotel but a short...

My wife & I were looking for a venue to watch the Manchester derby & get some lunch whilst on holiday in the Wye valley and came across this lovely place which was dog friendly. Nice welcome & decor/atmosphere. Very popular with locals meeting up on a Saturday lunchtime. Sky TV. Basic pub food but very nice and they offered...

I was house hunting in the area and choose this hotel because of it's pool. I wasn't disappointed, delightfully warm, palm trees and rocks made it feel quite Caribbean and the water was spotlessly clean. I enjoyed a leisurely swim after a long day then a meal in their restaurant. Attentive friendly staff who gave me a warm welcome. My...

Adequate clean room in the old building with sloping floors. Clean and reasonably quiet. Overall feel of hotel dingy - mainly a pub. Public rooms ugly especially badly lit miserable ugly restaurant. Food average but with good fresh vegetables. Breakfast well cooked but poor breakfast bar. Some very good service was provided!

A one night stay on a mini Welsh road trip. Corridors look rather dated. Room was clean, but dated decor. Very good shower. Breakfast was rather insipid, undercooked, poor quality bacon and sausage. Expensive for what it is.

We visited as a group of 20 golfers for the fourth time in around 9 years and stayed for three nights. I have never been disappointed but if anything the menu has got even better, which for me is an achievement in itself. The staff are all very friendly and showed their professional side when dealing with 20 noisy pensioners....
