My mom and I visited Kington for a family wedding and found Arrowbank Lodge online. Easy to find, just as you arrive in village and after a long drive the most welcoming of hosts John and Jill. The twin room was so lovely and bright, comfortable beds and private bathroom with amazing shower. Breakfasts second to none, wifi excellent and... More

We stayed at Arrowbank Lodge in order to take part in a series of Audax bike rides in the neighbouring Gladestry. Because of the early starts we needed to leave the accommodation promptly each morning and John and Jill arranged early breakfasts etc. Car parking was private and safe for bike storage and there were outbuildings available for this too.... Wow! what a great B&B. Walking Offa's Dyke Path and of the 15 B&Bs we stayed in this was by far the best in every way and great value as well. Warmly welcomed and delicious tea and scones on arrival. The master bedroom and ensuite were large, comfy and well appointed. Able to sit and relax in the chairs looking... More

Although the not right on the Offa's Dyke path the short diversion to Arrowbank was worth it. With a really nice en suite room, great hospitality and a special breakfast we felt really spoils after a hard day of walking. We were given good advice about where to eat in town too.

Three of us stayed here overnight on our Offa's Dyke Path walk. We arrived around 7.30 in the evening. We would have been offered tea and scones on arrival, but the landlady, Jill, rightly surmised that as is was so late, we would prefer to change and go out to eat straight away. Seeing we were slightly wet from our... More

After a very wet day on the Offa's Dyke Trail, Arrowbank Lodge, was a perfect place to stay. Jane and John are clearly very experienced with walkers needs, and we were able to get all our gear dried and ready for the next day. They were very knowledgeable regarding where to eat. On their recommendation, we had an entertaining dinner... More

I have only good things to say about this B and B. Jill and John are amiable and helpful hosts. On arrival we were pleased with the good amount of private off road car parking available, accessed along a narrow lane to start with, but plenty turning space near the house. We had the smaller double en suite but it... More

This B&B is beautifully set on the river bank. The host served us tea and scones in their lovely outdoor seating area. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The location is very convenient to Offa's Dyke Path and central Kington.
