We stayed on a Saturday night on the hotels 'Winter Warmer' offer, which was room, three course dinner & breakfast. Check in was fine and the room large and clean, with a comfortable bed. The spa facilities here were not as good as elsewhere we've stayed. The pool is very cold & at the time of using it some children's...

Very nice hotel, my double room was massive and but the TV wasn't that big so I struggled to see if from my bed! Hotel rooms are very dark, very clean, breakfast not amazing, set in a stunning location. Staff very helpful.

Booked a wowcher deal for a Christmas treat for my sister. We arrived on Friday 13th and were checked in by a very friendly receptionist. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and spent some time in the spa where we were again greeted by friendly efficient staff. Our evening meal was delicious we both ordered the rib eye steak which was...

We stayed here for two nights just before Christmas. The hotel seemed to be quiet, ie pretty empty. We were given a room on the second floor in the new part of the building at the far end. Out of the way and quiet, but it was so dark and gloomy. The room was actually really big, it just had...

What a HUGE disappointment! Disgusting! I'm not the type of person to write a review but I'm absolutely disgusted on how the hotel manger treated me and my friend. We arrived at check in time and everything was lovely until 2 in the morning we had a knock at our hotel room door by the police and hotel manger to...

We had a lovely large room and nice bathroom. Enjoyed the pool, steam room and jacuzzi. Breakfast was good. Good over night stay to chill. Would have been nice to go for a walk but weather was not too good

We spent two nights here at Christmas 2016. The room was excellent, with an enormous bed, lots of space to hang clothes and plenty of lights too. We don't like duvets, but our request for sheets and blankets was greeted without a problem. The member of staff brought them almost immediately, very impressive. The bathroom was well appointed and equipped...

I have stayed at this hotel on 4 occasions, all experiences were almost the same: Rooms are really dated and run down, done up cheaply with chintz and cheap furniture pretending to be country cool. Old carpets and cracked ceilings and walls. Beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced with cheap, uncomfortable mattresses, pillows, quilts and really basic...

Hotel and grounds look impressive but was slightly disappointed with the room and value for money. The room was basic, we had a cupboard for a fridge but no fridge or mini bar. The room overlooked the car park and the plug in the sink was stuck so that water could not be drained away (this was reported on check...

Lovely hotel, great staff. Swimming pool was large and clean. Jacuzzi wonderful. Only fault was the menu in the dining room did not change for two nights but we were informed we could have choose from the bar menu as well. We had a very enjoyable stay and took advantage of the golf course attached 😁
