Stopped off at the Roebuck Inn on the half chance. Really glad we did. The Pub was very busy with locals and visitors alike. We managed to get a table and sat down for food. The menu was very good and with typical Home Cooking Pub favourites on show,it was a hard decision to chose one. My three courses full... More

We had a family lunch here and we were served up a great roast. The new owners haven't been there long but were very welcoming and extremely friendly staff. I would highly recommend and will be back. It's a great location too and newly refurbished B&B accommodation ideal for a weekend away

Every year I help to organise a get together for 15-20 local people based across the West Midlands with the vast majority based in the Ludlow area. We have been to this place before and are always impressed with the scenery, the bar and of course the food. Weeks before the event Phil the Landlord emailed me the set menu... More

What a little gem of a place this is. we visited on a damp and dismal evening whilst staying at the local Travelodge and received a friendly welcome. There was a lovely log fire and a pleasant atmosphere. The food arrived promptly, steaming hot, well presented and delicious. Service came with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. We... More

We finally visited The Roebuck for lunch this week - something we had been meaning to do for ages! Happy to report that it was a most enjoyable experience. A warm welcome and ambience greeted us. The menu although not overly extensive was varied and fairly priced. Two of us enjoyed a superb 5 star homemade soup, another the excellent... More

I have eaten in this pub a few times now, always with friends, and can say that the food has always been very good in regard to range, quality and quantity. Our group has sometimes been accommodated in a separate room and the staff have been attentive. And the ale is good - what more is there to say?

Visiting our friends from the Channel Islands, who took us here for the best steak supper, at a great price too ! My Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and it was a whopper. My Lemon Lush was truly luscious. Fabulous hosts, really friendly older style proper pub. The men enjoyed the beer very much, and gave it the big thumbs... More

The Roebuck Inn is awesome as the "youth" would say! My son recently became vegan so eating out is quite a challenge. We booked to eat at the Roebuck on perhaps one of the busiest weekends of the year at Easter and expected eating options to be very limited - when we arrived the Hosts had gone to much effort... We thoroughly enjoyed a three course lunch here, the log fire was very welcome and the host was very friendly too. We had a complete mixture from the menu and all was well cooked and presented superbly. We will definitely be revisiting this pub and would recommend the Roebuck to anyone for a meal and night out.
