Situated in the New Forest National Park, Little Forest Lodge Guest House/Bed and Breakfast is a charming country residence set in 2 acres of beautiful gardens and woodland. Little Forest Lodge is an ideal location for exploring the ancient New Forest, with its ponies, deer and other wildlife, the nearby sandy beaches, and the popular family attractions of Beaulieu and Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park. We are part of the New Forest Walker and Cyclist Approved Scheme and are conveniently situated for access to the many varied walks and trails of the New Forest. We are very close to the market town of Ringwood, easy driving distance of Bournemouth, Salisbury and Southampton and the New Forest towns and villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Burley and Lymington. Little Forest Lodge, a large Edwardian home, originally built as a gentleman's residence for Lady Morant in 1910 has extensive grounds with lawns, woodland areas, stunning rhododendron and azalea borders and a pond. We have six spacious bedrooms, all en-suite, providing a range of comfortable accommodation for couples, families and single guests. Our charming resident’s lounge overlooks the lawns, log fires blaze in the winter and the patio doors open onto the garden in the summer. We are fully licensed and have a well-stocked bar. Breakfast is served in our oak-panelled dining room, with feature Jacobean fireplace. Sausages and bacon are supplied by Sway Butchers; a traditional New Forest family butcher for six generations, the sausages are homemade to a secret family recipe. Our eggs are sourced from local free range egg producer Claytons Eggs. Dogs are welcome in some of our rooms, however this is by prior arrangement only, therefore please contact us prior to booking. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information regarding dogs staying at Little Forest Lodge.

We were really made to feel at home by Kayren and Dave as soon as we arrived. Our family room was good and spacious so we didn't feel claustrophobic. Bathroom very smart and clean with a decent shower. The children would have enjoyed more time running around the large garden had it not been so wet, and they also liked the guest lounge with a selection of games and TV with just about every option for their needs. I would have liked to have made more use of the honesty bar in the lounge... The location is great for exploring around and quick to get down to the coast. Close to the road but hardly noticed and traffic when inside. A thumbs up for the cakes and biscuits, and a final mention for the excellent breakfast - especially the best smoked bacon I've ever had. Heartily recommended.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Accommodation - Amazing. The room was spacious and spotless, furnished very well and the bed was incredibly comfy. There is a lounge area with a proper fire, large television, ample seating and an honesty bar with such reasonable prices that Wetherspoons would look expensive. The dining area is large with lovely views of the garden. There is fast, free WiFi and every utility you could need. Breakfast - Delicious. There's fresh fruit, yoghurts, juice, hot/cold drinks, cereal, and this is followed by a brilliant cooked full English breakfast with locally sourced meat that can be tailored for various dietary requirements. Kayren also makes homemade marmalade and jam which is another lovely touch. Hosts - Kayren and Dave were perfect hosts. On arrival they were so friendly and welcoming, and full of local knowledge about the best places to visit and eat. They even had hot drinks and cake ready for our arrival. They were available whenever needed, and without a doubt the most warming and genuine hosts I have ever stayed with. They make the experience a magical one and I cannot say enough good things about the Little Forest Lodge. Location - If you use Google maps then just enter the Little Forest Lodge and it will take you right there, it's right on the side of a main road but has clear signage and lit bollards so you won't miss the turning. You cannot hear the road at all in the lodge, it's like you're in the middle of the forest, which is only a few minutes away! Ringwood is a great location, throgouhly recommend Liberty's Owl sanctuary, the London Tavern Inn (couples) and the Alice Lisle Inn (family) for food. Overall- The Little Forest Lodge is the perfect stay, the hosts are incredible and we are already planning our next trip back. Whether you are going for your own trip, in a couple, or a family, please give it a try, you won't regret it. Thank you Kayren and Dave for such a brilliant weekend!

We only had one night at Little Forest Lodge, as we were on a tight schedule Keiryn (I hope I spelt this correctly) and the dogs made us most welcome to a charming high status Edwardian house. She was happy to tell us about the local attractions and the New Forest, and about the history of the house. The information pack even included the location of the local laundry, which is often something the locals don't know, and we, as travellers, have needed to find:) A special part of Little Forest Lodge to us was the charming lounge that enables guests to mingle if they wish. The room was good, and breakfast great, including Keiryn's home made jams. Thanks again to Keiryn and David for a great stay, and if we're your way again, we will be back.
