We spent a very pleasant week at Carol and Richard's self-catering cottage in their garden. It had everything we needed and we received a very warm welcome from Carol. It is situated just off the A36 and very handy for the New Forest which was just over the road and all the other tourist hot spots were nearby. The WiFi... More

We enjoyed a very cosy and comfortable three night stay at Magnolia Cottage in the grounds of Camellia Lodge with our two dogs in mid-January. Carol and Richard are both very friendly, approachable and a mine of local information should you need it, but will equally respect your privacy. The cottage was very clean and well equipped throughout, and the... More

Michele& Phil thank you for leaving us this lovely review, it is very much appreciated. It was a pleasure to meet you & your 2 ' little ones'. We have looked into the water pressure for the hot tap but it would be quite costly , also regarding the Internet we installed an extender as advised by BT but un-fortunately... More

Had a lovely stay in Magnolia Cottage for the August bank holiday week. On arrival we were welcomed by the owners Richard and Carol. The cottage was very clean and the bedding and towels smelt so fresh. Plenty of DVD's, books and games to play on rainy days or in the evenings also a good size tv. There is a... More

We have just spent a week in Magnolia Cottage, in the grounds of Camellia Lodge. Carol and Richard could not have been more helpful, lovely people. We had not been to Hampshire since our childhood so it was great to get advice on where to go. Our 2 pups were made most welcome and Cassie behaved impeccably with the two... More

My wife and I were delighted to have found this excellent B&B to stay for our Ruby Wedding weekend. Everything was beautifully presented and we were very warmly welcomed by Richard and Carol. Our room was perfect and the bed was so very, very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We couldn't have stayed at a better location. Thoroughly recommended!

We are so pleased we chose this b and b. The room was lovely and the hosts Carol and Richard were great, just the right balance friendly and helpful but not pushy. My wife, Alfie (our little Shih Tzu) and I stayed at the delightful Magnolia Cottage for two nights whilst visiting relations nearby. The accommodation was perfect. Am working in the vicinity during the week, going back home at weekends. Magnolia Cottage, a self-contained unit in the grounds of Camellia Lodge, is just perfect for me.
