Stayed in this 16th Century coaching Inn whilst in area. The room was pleasant with comfortable bed. Heating kept the place very warm and cosy. Exceptional and competitive full English Breakfast was served each morning between Adam and Phil. The bar had a good selection of real ales. Low beams open log stove - Staff and management very helpful. Live...

I walked in on a Sunday. Irma was empty and there was no smell of food. I was told that there was a "Sunday Roast" only. Beef or Turkey to be precise.no menu, no prices no customers no smell of food. Surely this should've raised question by my nieve self. After my last experience a year earlier with home made...

Was my local for a few months in the UK. Music nights are the best. It does not have a garden and so suffers a bit on a warm sunny day. Food is limited to simple items but the chef is pretty good none the less. Accomodation here is I expect the best value in town. Eccentric customer base for...

Booked the table for 2@2. Had the Sunday roast. Excellent value for money. I was talking a lot so my food went a little cold so that was my fault but the taste and quality was excellent. Need to get some Rioja though lol. Staff and manager were very friendly. Well done to the chef as well!! Well worth a...

My wife and I booked an overnight stay at The Good Intent. We travelled by train to Petersfield. The hotel is a 7 min walk from the train station. Shopping centre is a short walk from The Good Intent . Once we arrived we were shown to our room above the pub. The rooms are quirky but not more than...

Okay, so it is not a modern, brand new, shiny building. It is a warm, cosy, olde world pub, exactly what we expected. True you could hear the traffic in the morning but it is on a main (ish) road. Also it is a music venue during the evening. Again staying in this kind of establishment you expect a certain...

I stayed here for one night (for work). Very friendly welcome and great customer service over a mix up with the rooms (my fault). The stairs to the rooms are very steep and there is limited head room in places, but it all adds to the charm of the place. The rooms were well presented and clean / comfortable -...

Love this pub. Met and shown around by the very friendly manager, then went for short walk around the lovely town before returning for fab & fairly-priced bacon, brie & cranberry paninis and salad. Enjoyed the real ale selection! In the afternoon, enjoyed the Edward Thomas walk with fab views from Mutton Hill from the pub door. What a fab...

I booked 2 nights here while working nearby in liphook. When I checked in I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman working behind the bar(the manager). He then showed me to my room, wow! A narrow staircase and low ceilings followed by a step down into my room. My room was spacious and clean the bed nice and comfy....
