I stayed in this hotel whilst on a company course and was really happy with the room and hotel in general. The breakfast was well catered for and the food in the evening was fantastic. The room was large and airy overlooking the grounds which are well maintained. A really good hotel for a weekend getaway or as I did...

We recently visited the Esseborne Manor for a family lunch/ afternoon tea. The service we received from the excellent staff was first class and the food was equally superb. We would not hesitate to return to this charming and welcoming hotel.

We booked the weekend on a deal of two nights stay bed & breakfast and two course dinner to include tea and scones on arrival. (delicious warm home made scones) When first entering the manor the decor takes you back into another era which took us by surprise at first but we quickly fell in love with this place, its...

We had an overnight stay with the 7 course taster menu bought for us as a present by our family. When we arrived we were shown to our room, which was overlooking the court yard. The room was huge, had a four poster bed and spa bath. We then had afternoon tea of scones, clotted cream and jam, which was...

We read the reviews before going and read that the place is a little tired with fabulous food. We loved it. Yes, it could be confused with a Nursing Home, but it is an old Manor House and I thought it was charming. We had the taster menu for dinner and couldn't fault it. The breakfast was superb. They were...

We had a really delightful overnight stay. Lovely dual aspect room, slept like a log in a comfortable bed, and didn't swelter as so often in hotels. Excellent dinner tasting menu with delicious wines, good breakfast. Helpful staff. Very happy!

Like most other people, we bought into a deal that included a cream tea (do not confuse this with afternoon tea as that includes sandwiches and pastries) and a 7 course taster menu. The hotel, sits in its own grounds which, due to bad weather, we were unable to explore. The hotel is family run and you are treated to...

We purchased a special offer from the Esseborne Manor - cream tea, 7 course taster dinner, a night's stay and cooked breakfast - and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. The hotel is maintained in the style of a country house, with stylish furnishings and décor throughout. If you look closely, there are signs that things are getting a little...

Stayed the night and had the 7 course taster meal. The food is of the best I have ever had. Really nice setting. I can see how some may feel the rooms need a update but that was part of the appeal to me. Victorian style rooms that are not like a fresh painted Hilton. Surroundings are small but nice....

This hotel is Top Rate, exceeded only by the quality of the staff, especially Julie. We arrived at gone 2am having suffered a delayed flight, lost luggage and a motorway closure to be greeted by a smiling Julie who had stayed at her post 3 hours after her shift ended. The hotel is comfortable, clean and efficiently run. We didn't...
