My family and I travelled from the US to the UK over Christmas. We wanted a self-catering apartment and The Squirrel's Leap fit the bill perfectly. We rented both apartments and a B&B room for the duration of our stay. David, the owner, was polite and accomodating. He knew the preferences of the guests staying in the B&B and was... More

Nice accommodation. Little olde worlde but I personally like that. Located one street away from a function we were attending, so ideal for us. Good level of service when required. Full English breakie was great. Clean, tidy, good basic accommodation. Ideal for our requirements.

We needed a base for an event in Winchfield and for exploring Jane Austen country and this was recommended by the event organiser. Opted for a week in the self catering "Coach House" as we wanted the space of more than just one room. On the good side, there was plenty of space, 3 good sized rooms: lounge/kitchen, bathroom and... Our stay was nice only, like the other person has mentioned attention to detail not a strong point, David, was not welcoming really, didn't make eye contact at all, the dinning room was very cold. The mats on the table not clean for the whole 4 days thats a small detail though. We had a wedding and he knew, not... More

Booked to stay here for 8 nights in self-catering facilities, because of the location. I know Fleet well and this was near the railway station. Phoned ahead on day of arrival (a Thursday night) and they had not taken the booking properly and were not expecting me for another 2 days, so first night was in the B&B. This was... More

We have now stayed at the Squirrel's Leap B&B three times and we are never disappointed. So far we have stayed in 2 suites and 1 room with en suite bathroom. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. We have always been greeted with a warm welcome and help with our luggage. Breakfasts are wonderful - we always choose... More

Very nice peaceful location. Not the warmest welcome on entrance, i think the owner that we met was maybe a bit suspicious of us being quite young in our (early 20's)! Despite this the room was nice and had a personal touch, nice en-suite although the sink was a bit blocked. Very good nights sleep. Nice breakfast with lots of... More

For the last night of our three week vacation touring the south of Britain, I needed a place close to Heathrow. Based on reviews I picked the Squirrels Leap and I was not disappointed. After driving into her easily located and big parking lot, Ginny warmly welcomed us, showed us our room, and offered a map of the local area... More

Stayed at this wonderfully appointed B&B before returning home via Heathrow Airport. Tthis former coach house of a large estate nestles in a neighborhood of beautiful homes and gardens., only a 6-minute walk to Fleet's commuter railway station to London (45 minutes). The large home is beautiful and the hosts warm and welcoming, with a notebook of any information about... More

I've been staying at Squirrels Leap for a few weeks now while working locally and can highly recommend this as a place to stay for both business and leisure travellers. It's very handy for the railway station and the town centre while still being in a very quiet and peaceful location so just about perfect :o)
