Once again we had a lovely stay. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is really good , plenty of choice. Parking on site is plentiful and some near front door if you need to unload anything.
Staff excellent and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was small but adequate for one night. It was clean and warm and the bed comfortable. The house is Victorian and therefore needs to be maintained accordingly so as not to diminish its character. However, I...More
small but well appointed room. Breakfast is exceptional and included in the price, ample private car parking Host very friendly, they allowed us to "borrow" a room after we had checked out to get changed after a funeral
My husband and I stayed Saturday and Sunday night and were not disappointed. Although our room was small, it had everything we needed. It was at the back of the house, so very quiet. The breakfast was really excellent, with a terrific choice and cooked...More

I was not aware of a lift in the hotel. However my friends were in a spacious ground floor room. The rooms had lovely walk in showers. There is ample parking in the grounds of the hotel, all on the flat. If one suffers mobility issues, especially with a wheelchair, I could not recommend this hotel as it is a period building. The staff are friendly and very helpful and I believe they would go the extra mile to be of assistance as much as possible. Perhaps a phone call to the hotel would be a good idea to discuss a particular need.
