Beautiful peace and quiet, just like the old days. Huge country house with massive lounge with a grand piano and a real open fire fuelled by a basket filled with logs that you can light and enjoy all to yourself , terrific !! Bit worn and wonky plumbing to say the least with a shower and bath taps that can...

This place must have been a stately home in the past. Huge staircase leading to our equally huge room overlooking grandiose gardens with manicured lawns. We planned to be there mid-evening, but didn't in the end arrive until nearly midnight. They were kind enough to let us in, thank you. Next morning we had a continental breakfast at a communal...

What a wonderful weekend we had whilst staying at the Hollybank B&B. An utterly stunning property, set in the most beautiful grounds. This is unlike any other property we have ever stayed in. Anna and Viv were most welcoming. There was a choice of three delicious breakfasts. It was the ideal stay, to completely switch off. A truly idyllic stay,...

Wow!!!... what a magnificent discovery in Hampshire, been looking for a place in the area for a while as I have several clients who I collect and deliver to on a regular basis, but have always had to use the Travelodge or similar, NO MORE. The lodge was a welcome sight after a very long day of driving, a long...

Arrived early, before meeting family for a weekend of catching up. Hollybank House feels like a National Trust property where you are allowed to sit on sofas. We were at the top of the house in the yellow room, which had fabulous views over garden & harbour (a mile away or so) & the Downs in the other direction. Very...

A welcoming and cosy large house set in acres of beautiful garden and woodland. The bedroom was characterful and had fabulous views from two windows, the bathroom was modern and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. It was eaten in the company of other visitors round a large dining table in a lovely dining room. It felt...

Hollybank House is an elegant old mansion set in 10 acres of grounds (would be even more wonderful at rhododendron time!). Our bedroom was very comfortable, not modern but in the style of the house. Breakfast is served at a large table in the dining room with the other guests. There was a good choice of food, which included smoked...

The house itself was interesting architecturally, being Victorian and retaining many original features, and was in huge grounds so very quiet and peaceful. The owners were able to tell us much of its history. The large size of our room (the green room) was a pleasant surprise and the bed was supremely comfortable. There were tea and coffee facilities, bottled...

Once of the best bed and breakfast accommodation we have stayed in. Great hosts. Breakfast very good. After our daily trips we would come back and make tea and take it and sit in the wonderful grounds, seeing foxes and even deer. We shall definitely be returning.
