Having read other reviews on this site I began to wonder what kind of experience I was about to undergo! I was very pleasantly surprised. The entrance to the hotel was clean and there was a good public sitting room. The reception was warm and friendly. My room was perfectly adequate and, I guess, not long since refurbished, well decorated,... More

This is a very disappointing hotel. The car park is dirty and ill defined. The front door and hallway uninspiring and the rooms poor. The only thing about the room was a comfy clean bed. The carpet was grotty, old and had seen better days. the décor poor, the bathroom old fashioned ( although a new shower unit had been... More

I really enjoyed my stay, the hotel is clean with an amazing full English breakfast on offer. The hotel is In a good location where you can get takeaway, nearby sainsburys, bus stop and train/tram stop making easy to explore the area.

I stayed here for eight nights while working in Manchester. My room was great for me solo, albeit rather dated and the bed a bit squeeky. Very clean and brand new shower cubicle were good. Plenty of cupboard space, with a wash handbasin in the room, wall mounted Tv and free internet access (although one night this didn't access, so... More

I stayed here for 1 night. Positives : - Clean bedding, nice bed, Tea and coffee, Internet and plenty of TV Channels. Chinese opposite and the usual pizza deliveries. Negatives:- Toilet was a sani toilet and very noisy as you "pulled the chain". Shower was more like a drizzle of rain with no power, room was dingy as I said... More

Booked this Hotel to go to the Football so only stayed one night and spent very little time in the room. The room was clean and the bed was ultra comfy, but the decor could need a little lift. Things like the bathroom door being a sliding door which left a large gap could be improved. Breakfast was okay, simple.... More

Stayed here for one night after watching the football. It is in drastic need of a facelift. We had room 21, which is in the attic. It was adequate and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing for what we paid; very small for what was meant to be a full English. All in all, ok for a one night stop but I... More

I stayed with my Daughter aged 8 for 3 nights due to early hospital appointments at Salford Royal and having a fair distance to travel. I booked this B&B due to the distance from Salford Royal Hospital, unfortunately I didn't check previous reviews only checking a day before travelling, I was prepared and thought I would take them with a... This is a pretty basic hotel, I stayed for two nights and the room I had was grubby and tired rather than actually dirty. The mattress was very poor and uncomfortable and really needed replacing, I could actually feel the springs. The bathroom was very grubby and took ages for the water to actually start to run warm. There was... More
