We had a lovely room with a four poster bed. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. Evening meal was a very good menu and food always excellent. A very special mention to Samantha who looked after us so well. Thank you to Alan our driver who was a mine of inforrmation and looked after everyone on the coach wonderfully.

I don't know where to start with this fantastic holiday at the Bay Prince Of Wales Hotel. It's a big must for all Shearings regulars. The manageress and staff are all great people, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food, breakfast and evening meals are brilliant, the best by far! The staff in the restaurant were happy, helpful... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights early in September and had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was very nice and comfortable as was the lounge and bar area. Our stay was Friday and Saturday and there was entertainment on the Saturday evening, also advertised for the Sunday but don't know if there was any during the week. The... More

The Prince of Wales may be somewhat isolated and situated on a very busy main road, but the quality of the excursions and everything else about the holiday more than compensated for this. Our driver, Alan, was most informative and did everything he could to ensure we had an enjoyable holiday. This was by far the most interesting and enjoyable... More

Tired bathroom, and noisy from the trains, but excellent food, and good service apart form one girl who could have been very new. We will return. It was very hot so we had to have the windows open, it would have been quieter if they were closed, but doubt I could reach the top ones.

Having had a comfortable ride in one of Shearings Coaches with a lovely driver called Alan who provides excellent tours on his daily excusions, he goes the extra mile and is a credit to Shearings for making the trips... We have stayed at this Hotel before. My wife thought I was quite mad in booking a weekend away so soon after returning from a Cottage Holiday in the Cotswolds & so soon before another Cottage Holiday in the Lleyn Peninsula. However, we paid extra for a Superior Room, well worth it, after receiving a 10% discount on the normal... More

It sounds like you had a lovely weekend and there's no better way to experience this beautiful part of the Cotswold Way than a walk from Dursley to North Nibley up the Tyndale Monument and then see the views from Coaley Peak. Melanie Mann General Manager More
