I found Tudor Farm whilst looking for hotel near the Forest of Dean. I booked a family room with dinner bed and breakfast. Before my stay I received emails confirming my booking, all very professional and well organised. On arriving at the Tudor Farm we found it was a beautiful set of Tudor farm buildings with the most gorgeous walled English garden with lots of lovely outdoor seating. Our room, family hen room 20 was in the eves of the building. On walking in, there was a set of steps leading into a bedroom area with free standing bath, a shower room with toilet, leading through to a small but perfect room with bunk beds. The room was clean, well appointed and although it wasn’t big it was decorated in a fresh and traditional way with a contemporary feel. We had dinner both nights in their very quaint dining area, with small bar and lounge. It was a peaceful and lovely country hotel. Ideal for a relaxing getaway. Free parking, couple of little pubs in the village and close to puzzle wood, Hopewell mine? clearwell caves and Wye Valley activities. I’d recommend Tudor Farm for couples and families wanting a relaxing stay in lovely surroundings. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to my children’s dinner requests!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Tudor Farmhouse Hotel for a two night autumn foraging package and I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely stay. The room was beautiful and cozy, the staff beyond friendly and accommodating, and all of the meals I had there were an absolutely feast for the senses— delicious and gorgeously presented. Would recommend and plan to stay again in the future. I added on the guided foraging walk with Eric as well and it was informative and fun— would love to do again in a different season.

We spent two nights here recently in this very special place. The comfortable and stylish rooms, the imaginative and tasty food, the charming courtyard: everything has been thoughtfully designed to make guests as relaxed and happy as possible. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly and even a minor problem with our room did not spoil our enjoyment.

Arrived to be greeted with an upgrade to 'The Loft'. A great start and things just got better! Room was very comfortable with a fantastic bathroom. Very quiet and very warm even though the outside temperature suddenly dropped just after our arrival. The dinner on both nights was excellent, as was breakfast on both mornings. The service was faultless with nothing being too much trouble for the staff in the restaurant, bar and reception. The location was central to a number of places we'd planned to visit and we didn't have time to explore the areas closer to Clearwell. A perfect excuse for another visit! All in all, a great stay and we will be back!

Beautiful day place to stay. Room was lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard. Only small thing is it could have been warmer especially in the morning but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Breakfast and dinner were done to a great standard. Particularly notable were the staff. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend

I have been staying two nights a week at the Tudor for about 5 years now and can honestly say in all my travels I have never found anywhere better. I have stayed in every room at the Tudor all of which are wonderful and will meet all your requirements whether on vacation or on business. The staff are fantastic, the food is wonderful and the location is peaceful and tranquil.

What a great hotel! Truly struggle to think of a negative about this place… Situated in a lovely village in an area that offers so much. The hotel and rooms are both tasteful and thoughtful, the staff friendly and professional and the food fantastic. We had 3 nights dinner bed and breakfast and we enjoyed everything. Brekkies were great but dinners memorable. The food was true to the menu (surprisingly unusual these days) and the choices interesting. Presentation, flavours and quality spot on. The Tudor Farmhouse isn’t going to be your cheapest option but it would be your most memorable. In our opinion the consistent quality of their offering makes it a stand out for true value for money. Well done the whole team there!

This is a great little hotel and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is superb and both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Afternoon tea looks great and is very popular though we didn’t have it ourselves. The area is lovely for walking and cycling and the Forest of Dean cycling tracks are fantastic.
