Very much enjoyed our overnight stay. Dinner was excellent and locally sourced. Kitchen garden and chickens on site. Would recommend as a treat or relaxing getaway, esp a cockerel room in the main Tudor house.

We recently had a four night break including breakfast and evening meal, at the wonderful Tudor Farmhouse, staying in the main building - a bonus if the weather had been bad. Our room (2) was spacious and very comfortable and we slept better than we had done for quite a while, the bathroom had a wonderful shower and a large... More

our room was in the old cider house, each room very different. Although no view from room 19 it had a very relaxing feel with a fabulous bathroom and spacious bedroom /lounge area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, breakfast delicious but we felt the dinner menu would benefit from some different dishes each day... More

This has been a 'bolt-hole' for us for six years now and every stay is more lovely than the last. The staff are wonderful, the food magnificent and the accommodation (we are gradually trying every room) is second to none. Book with confidence and enjoy! (just leave a room for us too)

Recently visited and booked the 'Celebrate' offer which was bed and breakfast with a 6 course tasting menu for dinner. The accommodation (room 2) is deluxe and so, so clean. Beautifully decorated and the bathroom is amazing - the free standing bath is fabulous, definite luxury. Dinner was amazing, absolutely loved it and you can see why they have recently... More

We booked at the last minute and the staff were very accommodating. Booking over the phone was easy, and the room was spotless and well furnished. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The hotel has leaflets describing local walks, which we took advantage of, and there are plenty of things to do nearby (although beware, the caves are closed until 26th... More
